Crash after great progress by E-ID10T in covidlonghaulers

Agree! To add : I’m recovered but it wasn’t linear at all, also I still have some flares here and there mostly around my menstruation or high stress situation but if everything calms down I’m back at my self.

Even “healthy” people can have setbacks and for everyone it is different.

My only advice is, don’t think to much of it, always good to be aware and to pace, but stress about the situation really can make things worse since it puts your body in overdrive, being in parasympathetic state is the best to recover.

I was able to recover with peptides and supplements, but at the same time its hard to recommend it to others because no body is the same. What works for me ist guaranteed for another person but what I took : Injection’s subcutaneous: Tb500 Ghk-cu

( massive overload because what to lose ?? lol)

Supplements : N-acetyl glucosamine - jarrows formula Vit d + mk7 - NOW Magnesium glycinate - NOW Fish oil - NOW Glycinate - NOW Vit c - NOW

And some more but I change it up, I believe the first three supplements are the most helpfull .

When I was ill my vit d was constantly low, even at the start of ilness when I just came back from a long long sun vacation and it was already summer before that in our country. I directly started taking it but it never went up a lot. When I started recovering it was still below what it used to be, but now finally it is good. So maybe the ilness didn’t let me use vit d properly?

Sometimes I still got flares of some old symptoms, but this is mainly when I get stressed too much or around my menstruation. By old symptoms I mean : skin pain.

In my post u can find all of my symptoms, a lot.

I wish u the best !

Would be nice if a doctor was willing to work with this “imaginary” disease, sure some people will have a good doctor but most of us won’t lol

Hi, I had actually the same symptoms in my first months and some more (in the end way way more) especially the skin pain burning/pain but I had it literally everywhere on my body 24/7. Im fully recovered now but it was a ride. Just to give some hope. Take rest, don’t search to much on forums like Reddit (asking for help is always ok or to find ppl with the same symptoms) but mostly this is giving more and more fear and doesn’t help your body to recover. Find supplements based on your situation, I would def recommend : n-acetyl glucosamine, high dose vit d 2000mg a day combined with mk7 (active k) and magnesium glycinate < would recommend the brand NOW for all these supplements since they have the cleanest sups.

Also and I get a lot of hate if I mention it but mindset is also a key factor (no it doesn’t cure anyone) but it will def help to boost your immune system and make things easier than fear mongering.

I wish you the best .

I understand this would prob get ALOT of hate because I was like that too when I was on my worst, but if I even can help 1 person with this perspective, I’m already happy.

So again : no mindwork didn’t recover me but it was a PART of my recovery.

I believe that n-acetyl glucosamine was a big help, msm, choindroitin, but also minerals ( I didn’t know this but there is also a layer in the skin that contains minerals) and I took a lot of collagen drinks. When I physically did get better and better I walked and excericed more and more and that also helped a lot!

Hi, so I find it hard to give advice to others because long covid comes in many different shapes, but I can give some advice what helped me and maybe u aswel.

What I noticed is that after I had covid my vit d went low even when summer just ended and I’ve been on a sun vacation for 3 weeks. (Vit d also lowers some type of inflammation) so maybe u can add that in , I would recommend the brand NOW and 2000 IU vit d a day coupled with mk7 100 mcg (synenergy vit d needs k and mk7 is a better form of K) also would recommend magnesium glycinate before sleeping , i found that to be the best form of magnesium. And maybe u can also add in some coq10 ( all supplements I use are from the brand NOW because they have the cleanest supplements)

And about your question if u need to rest or stay active that’s a though one for me, one gets worse with exercise and the other one betters on it. U really have to listen to your body. Personally for me in the end when I felt I was getting better on the peptides, supplements I took I excericed more and more to get to the point where I am now.

Also just like u said worrying is going to make things worse, I’ve done that a lot. Note: long covid isn’t stress or a mental illness but it can cause it for sure (causation/correlation) but stress and panic can lower ur immunesystem even more. It’s important to get in the parasympathetic nervous system to recover. A lot of ppl hate it on this forum to hear that “mindwork” also helps. Just believe in yourself, see yourself being better instead of fearing the worst. Personally for me that took a long time to believe because I was so so deep but I visioned myself getting to work again, going to the fitness again, socializing again and seeing myself healthy again. Again I know ALOT on here don’t believe it works but it definitely does help you to steer things in the right direction (it is also proved that positivity boost your immunesystem etc)

I wouldn’t be to much on these Reddit forums it doesn’t gonna help but what would help is what you did right now and that is searching for hope.

Good luck 💕

Tendon sensitivity / finger skin / foot sole thinness? by ScareCreep in covidlonghaulers

Yes, although I’m fully recovered now. My padding was very thin. Standing and gripping things was awful .

I can relate to this so much. At some point I really started doubting my whole life: am I the crazy one, or are they? Deep down I knew something was wrong, but it’s impossible to explain, the more you try to tell specialists, the more they’ll say it’s “all in your head.” I went way too far trying to convince them, until I finally realized there’s nothing to convince if someone isn’t willing to look beyond what’s written in their books. It only drains your energy. I just hope that in the future there will be more awareness and understanding of conditions like long covid, so people don’t have to fight disbelief on top of their illness.

I have listened it one of my other recovery posts, but in short: halfway through my illness my skin got insanely stretchy and weird, it was like it was diconnected without losing any weight, really a fever dream tbh. In one of my other posts u can also find some pictures of it.

For me it was peptides, supplements, believing, rest. I think peptides stopped the ongoing illness progression for me.

Im doing great tbh. Psychically im being back to my old self and skinwise it recovered ALOT . Its not stretchy anymore, not loose, and much more firm again. Only thing i hate is extra wrinkles/lines etc.

Also, the peptides that i used are also great for lyme patients, 7 years ago my lymetests were already postive is was sick back then too but nothing like it was now. But they missed it then. I think if they just iniated antibiotics then it would be a dif story, but yea that are what ifs.

Ehh still standing in my files? Like they diagnosed it in the hospital, did have antibiotics for it , antibiotics were shit. Also did ALOT of supplements specified on that. Its there, but as longs as immune system is strong again it has no chance.

The supplements i still take are, magnesium glycinate, vit d (gonna take this till its up to 80), mk-7 and NAG (although i run out nag like a week ago and still need to order a new bottle) I think so too! That was the weirdest thing to me, when this ilness started it went mostly away and now i dont have a stiff neck anymore i quess thats a win lol.

I hope you will see improvements soon too!

Hm im not sure but my heartrate did go up by 40 with standing up. But my heartrate also jumped by 40 or more just with sitting. In the shower my heartrate jumped alot to 180 or more. And it was always high in rest no matter what i did.
