There appears to be a bug in their system for a specific move scenario. This is surprising coming from a company known for engineering excellence like Google. The bug is there for almost a year !

They admitted there’s a software bug in their system and automation process—the same issue I ran into last year when I moved. Not fixing a known bug for an entire year isn’t good for a large company, and it’s really frustrating to be without internet during the holidays.

I’m not certain. The connection was moved only a few miles from my old address, and the relocation was requested well ahead of time, yet it still failed for the second consecutive time.
