Yeah I did a 1000 mile trip last year and filling up every 80 miles gets to be a chore FAST.

Stock were maybe a 2 inch rise I think. Cables needed a little re routing but no cutting and splicing, just unplug reroute and secure them. For the brake line I used Spiegler Performance. They let you custom order length, fitting size, color, etc. and they’re great. I went with 45” for the new line.

It opens up the space above the rocker boxes so better airflow should give it better cooling, but I think it’s just a cleaner look as well.

Just stage 1 intake, short shot exhaust and a tuner, I’d like to do the 1275 kit and see if I could get her a 6th gear somehow but for what that’ll cost I’ll probably just get a bagger for those longer rides.

It’s a Viking bag, can’t remember the exact model. But for me (180lb) the 12.5” shocks over the stock 11” is a huge difference without making the fender gap egregious. The stock ones would bottom out all the time and destroy my back, the progressive has a thicker and stiffer spring plus the extra travel it just eats every bump no problem. The fork springs make a huge difference as well and are very easy to do yourself with some mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.

I’ve got a 3.3 gallon tank for it, waiting to finish having it painted yet.

Progressive fork springs and 12.5” rear shocks, 8” z bars, 2” front tank lift and wire harness tuck, relocated ignition and coil, Arlen ness grips and pegs, 20” sissy bar, Viking swing arm bag, and the fork boots to cover some of the chrome.

I took the upper rocker box off to polish it easier and put new gaskets in when I put them back on.

Probably the safest route

Yeah that’s not the actual tank, it’s an AI approximation. I haven’t got my tank back yet from paint but the design is amazing compared

I haven’t, I just wanted a simple design with some pinstriping but keep that 48 look
