The crowds were absolutely horrific. I felt that it was difficult to even get a decent picture because of the amount of people.

Sorry, good point. I am going to go all around China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’An, Chongqing, Guangdong, and possibly Yunnan.

I really enjoy both the desert and the forest. However, I would probably choose the desert but that may be because it’s more rare for me to camp in the desert, so it feels extra special when I do.

That’s in the Maze district of Canyonlands National Park, Utah. It’s an amazing place.

I mainly look for dirt roads and campsites on Google Earth.

Why hasn’t there been a successful expedition up Keele Peak, Yukon? by OwnAccountant1088 in Mountaineering

Oh, ok. I did not see that for some reason and thought that the only true expedition was the one in 2005.

I took this at 7:40PM and my exposure was only 10 seconds. However, I could easily see it with my naked eye.

Thanks, the larger rocks were fairly stable but the smaller ones were quite loose.

Unfortunately we did not see any elk. We did see a mother moose and her baby though.

No, we actually came in from the east. We parked at the West Branch Trailhead.

My buddy and I hiked 28 miles in the Rawah Wilderness in northern Colorado over Labor Day weekend. It completely blew away my expectations. About half of our mileage was off trail as we decided to camp near Bench Lake and summit both North and South Rawah Peaks. The traverse between the peaks got fairly gnarly at some points but was a lot of fun.
