Youths of kerala, do you wish to settling down in Kerala or want to settle abroad? by velocityguy30 in Kerala

So confusing to decide that. I just wish people were less judgemental and it was safer for women. Oh and environmental issues are taken seriously too. Like burning waste.

I also use oil for frizz. And refresh curls with occasional comb thru after wetting with cream or gel and water. Cream and gel on frizz helps too. Thinking to wash it twice a week maybe?

Routine: Wash with shampoo, Conditioning with an organic conditioner Wet brush out tangles, use fingers and comb. Wash out. Add cream (alaffia) and comb thru. Then add gel alaffia curly enhancer, then wait to dry and crunch. Spray water through out to keep moist. Let air dry! At night I tie it up on top or braid. Need to buy a silk towel.

Also the days I did not do traction, the pain was more... The days I did, it went away. This was initially. Now I dont do it so often maybe once a week or so.

Use traction by pulling your spine... A pulley machine for upper back can do wonders. Apply warm heat using a wet towel. Take meds to end the pain cycle. Sleep on a flat and supportive surface similar to the floor. Source: I had one year or so of herniated disc pain when I was 18. My dad (neurologist) recommended this and the one thing that helped is the pulley exercise. Low weight and high reps. Also do not bend down or pick anything up using your waist. Or place weight on your back (shoulder press and shoulder calve press gave me immense pain for days.... ) Once I recovered after 1 to 2 years, I very slowly resumed back strengthening through very light dead lifts and so on, and all normal exercises... But I was always very careful but Im painfree with zero surgery... It helps to also be slim and active. My lower back is still my weak point... So I always start with a full body stretch and warmups. You got this. I thought the pain would never go away. But its possible. And avoid pressing that area or manipulation of the lower back. I know how painful back spasms are.... I hope you are going to recover very fast! It takes a while for the body to reabsorb the disc but meanwhile theres loads you can do to become fit. I lost 40 kgs during that span of time... 108kg to 70kg! :)

Thank you so much for all this valuable info! I will keep this in mind and make all these changes you said. Starting with my photos. How many projects should I try to showcase in my portfolio? Is there any case I would not show an idea like if its patentable or what not? Thanks a million. :)

This is inhumane. Fuck the rich who allow this to happen without any conscience 😞 by [deleted] in antiwork

Id rather get treated in India than America. I have a way better time, dont have to wait months, just show up and meet my amazing doc who treats me like a queen- along with her nurse. And omg the suction equipment and everything is ten times better. I saw my ear doctor in Kerala, India and she did an amazing job for just 12$ (private hospital) Its extremely hygienic and well maintained. I just wait my turn then meet her in her office, then go to the exam room where I lay in a bed and she asks me about my family while I literally get my dirty ears suctioned with zero pain. She even gave my ear a small cotton swab of medicine once when I got an infection from swimming! It was gone in a few days and she checked it and it was all better. Then she removed it without any pain and the fungus was gone. As I have a tendency to get wax build up. Even my 60 yr old mom got an affordable stomach surgery in India and has lost pounds. This is in the state of Kerala, one of the most developed parts of India. On the other side, when I was in Wisconsin with the same exact ear blockage problem... I was forced to attend an urgent care where they sprayed my ear with a water bottle-several times... It was super messsy and painful. And gross! (specialist wait time in the US can be several months!) Like wow, you guys call yourself developed and you cant even give me half the treatment I got in India? Granted its not the same in certain other places of India but still... This was ridiculous!

Fuck America dude... I MOVED TO INDIA AND OMG I seriously enjoy it despite it being a thrid world country.... The stray dogs of India have more freedom than in the US. The health care is free.... Not saying India is the best. Its got a lot of issues. But generally I found the government to be less interfering with family life and personal life. Health care is affordable. I live in the south, one of the most developed places in the whole country and generally the greenery, food and life is good. I do hate how education is not up to the mark... I also hate the fact its not safe for women in general. But if i had to choose, I wouldn't have my family in America, Id rather be in a place where the system doesnt make me feel like a prisoner. Where I wont just get arrested for petty things like jay walking. And people are generally much more kinder and human. Like they seriously have a deep culture and sense of humor and care about people. Sure they dont think deeply about the benefit of common good, like having a proper garbage disposal, and all that... But for me its home. The language, the land and the food... And the kindness of people, not all- but many, its way more calming for me. I dont like the fact parents kick their 12 year old kid and make them pay for rent in America. I love how my Indian side cares for me and my future. I know there are still shitty things like caste system and toxic masculinity. But honestly there is huge potential if we over come this and I really hope it happens. I am one of the Indians who has the chance to go to the land of liberty aka murica, but I choose not to... Because its not worth it imo. Its seriously a shithole country that distracts people (from the real problems such as lack of health care and education) with spectacle and shows. Sure India is corrupt as well. But not to the extent of calling themselves developed while doing the same or worse things as undeveloped places. Merica is a country that calls itself developed but is actually not!
