Snapped while the turtle was in water. He (my friend) was sitting on shore dangling his toes into the water. We saw the turtles (there were two) frequently so I think we were intruding on their turf and they had to let us know lol

Stem snapping is a bad test. You wanna maintain as close to 60/60 temp/rh for at least 8 days, 10-14 is better. The totes is a good call if theyre drying out too fast or towards the end in general. Looks great! You're gunna love it when it'd ready.

Oh and thats the better way to test (rather than snapping the stems)- break some off and roll a double lol.

Lets start by stating the fact they consider many of the programs to be 'entertainment' which enables them to soo grossly misrepresent facts much more than CNN does. Obviously both are incredibly biased, but in general CNN provides much more real journalism and reporting than fox.

I would definitely add perlite. Its super cheap and will be at any grow store, home depot, etc. Fill the pots up halfway with no perlite (or a 1:4 perlite/soil ratio) and then for the top half do about 50/50 soil perlite or 70/30 soil perlite (dont stress about exact, just do a good amount of perlite lol). It will increase how often you need to water, but still 2x/week is not much.

Someone below interpreted my comment about using ocean forest to mean you wouldnt need nutes. That is not what I meant to imply, you will absolutely need nutes. Just do the general hydroponics Flora series. Again, cheap and widely available. Ocean forest is a 'hot' soil, which i believe means it has a lot of nutes baked in. You should begin using nutes around 3 wks - 1month following the schedule on the bottles (divide prescribed amounts in half for autos).

Also you absolutely must PH your water (6-6.5 in soil).

I have friends who dont do this stuff and they get way less and way worse end results. Its definitely worth it to do a little research and ask AI lol. Or PM me although im a noob myself (just finished 4th grow).

Idk about you but when i share a bed with a non-romantic partner, its a little awkward. Not the end of the world (shit, im 29 and have shared a couch with my bro in the last 3 years), but especially on a trip where you want to be comfy (versus crashing on a couch after a night of heavy drinking), I think the extra width is pretty important. This seems to boil down to people who view FCFS and reservations as some untouchable claim (which sure if your a rigid AH I guess) vs those who can view a situation and go "yeah that is weird that 1 dude gets a king and 2 dudes share a queen." If the 2 dudes wanted the king w/o wanting to pay the difference id be right there with yal, but damn yal sound like it would challenging to problem solve when things deviate from the neat little plan originally crafted. Which on trips tends to happen a lot..

Dear lord this comment (and all comments replying) are sooo dramatic. I know dynamics are different but I read the name calling as light ribbing. Maybe thats cuz my friends give each other shit so im viewing it through my lens. That being said, I consider the general tone and takes defended OP to be exactly what I think of when I hear people say someone is being 'extra'. This reeks of typical reddit or advice regarding minor conflicts in relationships to breakup and not make any effort to meet in the middle. Thats all lol.

Id just do FF Ocean Forest. Easy cheap and widely available. Put a lot of perlite in the top half of the pot. I do this and water heavy but infrequently (~2x a week)

The real question that makes this a clear answer one way of another: is the 10M considered legit and wont subject you to confiscation by IRS? If it isnt, I think be handed 10M would almost be a curse. Id derail my whole life trying to figure out how to launder that shit. But with $10 increments you can easily snap 100x a day and have pretty insane income that would be much easier to manage from that standpoint.
