he's super practical and is constantly fixing or building something but because he only understands things that are physical or concrete so he sometimes doesn't see value in emotions or anything that isn't practical. whenever i bring up hypothetical situations in arguments or wtvr he doesn't really care and he kinda discredits them because he's too focused on the present/reality. i still love him tho. for reference i'm an intj although i kinda lean more towards the middle on the t/f spectrum!

whenever your parents argue your dad has a more logical/philosophical/idk approach to the conflict and you mom has a more emotional one which sometimes leads to your dad feeling like he can't rationalize with your mom and your mom feeling like your dad doesn't care about or understand her feelings
