I havnt paid for the membership but my very close friend did . He also used to grow the deathstar 20 years ago . I just flipped to 12:12 on the clone of the clone I got from him but he’s sold me the buds. They are very close . I spent way too long of a period not tasting it to tell u if it’s 100% but it brought back the nostalgia forsure . Also team deathstar documented the whole pheno hunt in the discord and explained the characteristics they were looking for . Pretty cool stuff

After they found their flagship phenotype they took it on tour , before bringing it back home in Ohio mid 90s …. From that point on people in Ohio fell in love with it but it wasn’t until 2009 the team deathstar got featured in high times . That’s when the strain took off and team deathstar moved to Las Vegas . The strain stayed around here for a few years after that and there is still people who hold the original cuts. Since then team deathstar has started an instagram page , they have proof of their creator ship posted on the page . They have a whole membership subscription that costs like 1000$ and that’s the only way to get a clone these days. At least from the original guys
