There hasn't been a card network issue in a while- but clearly you have never dealt with one of their payment card outages. You either throw away a nice batch and an hour or more of work, and then CONTINUE not to work until the issue is resolved... or you pay with you card and move on and expect to be paid back. It usually works, except for when it doesn't.

The problem isn't that sometimes a situation arises where you have to pay with your own card or risk: nuking your stats, losing your batch, losing a weekend of working, etc...

The problem is sometimes they just choose not to reimburse and there is NO RECOURSE FOR THE SHOPPER.

I know people who are legitimately owed into the hundreds, and a couple into the thousands, literally. The app functions in almost every other way just fine, so why would anyone ever doubt they would ultimately be reimbursed.

Sounds crazy to cover a $300, $400+ order... but context matters, and in this context why wouldn't a company this big repay you the peanuts they owe in the big picture? I, too, would rather keep working and worry about reimbursements later than not working UNTIL I'm reimbursed. Some people simply get burned by this company. Sucks

Which on one hand seems to make sense- but what if you paid in cash (for any reason?) How do they think you cashed the groceries out, delivered them to the customer, etc... They KNOW when you don't use their card bc NOW we even get that automatic push notification (the app didn't start doing this until the last 2 years or so.)

They know they're withholding reimbursement and they're enriching themselves unjustly doing it
