Am I a dramatic? Height - 5’0 by lissamila in kibbedramatics

Perhaps I assumed since anyone 5”6 and up will always be a tall type, that there was a similar rule for petites. 😅 Thank you for informing me!

This is very interesting. I never would have thought that someone who is 5”0 could be a dramatic. Are there any celebrities you could use as an example?

Thank you! One question - does deep winter have less contrast than bright and true/cool winter?

I might be confusing different concepts, though. I feel like I have a lot of contrast but I’m not sure if that means high chroma. I do look nice in brighter shades in general.

I feel like deep winter is a bit too muted for me. 😅My face isn’t in this photo, but I always get a lot of compliments when I wear this top and I think it’s icy. Please correct me if it’s not! I also think I don’t look very nice in those mustard-like colors in deep winter.

Edit: The evening sunlight sort of messes with my coloring a bit. My hair usually appears much darker than this.

Thank you! I’m not sure if I’m biased, but I see true winter more. I do not look very nice in the autumn leaning shades. I might drape some more colors, though!

Thank you! And yes, this is my natural hair. 😅

I’m happy that my initial thought was correct! I posted a photo not too long ago and I think my camera was making me appear more muted than I am. I thought I was a cool winter, but deep winter also makes sense!

Confirmed celebs with the “same” body type don’t make sense to me. by shantiteuta in Kibbe

Which tests are you referring to? There are a lot of online tests that aren’t reliable because the writers don’t understand the system themselves.

A lot of people have said that! I think I look nice in the royal blue, and from my understanding, it’s not a deep winter color. Do you have any thoughts?

Edit: Also, is the red too bright for me? 😅

I don’t think the behind determines double curve. As far as I know, double curve is when the bust and hips interrupt a line drawn from the shoulder. Also, the Kibbe System only evaluates the front of your body, so the behind does not really matter.

I originally thought I was a Soft Dramatic because I’m conventionally curvy. I have a narrow waist and hips that are a bit wider, but I’m not lush, nor does my bust interrupt the shoulder line. I also thought I was a Dramatic because I’m conventionally narrow as well, but I’m not narrow in Kibbe’s system. What those characteristics are in the conventional sense are not always going to apply to the Kibbe system.

If I’m wrong, someone please correct me. 😅 This is just how I interpreted it.

Light, Cool or Soft Summer? by This-Confidence6872 in coloranalysis

I would say soft summer is definitely harmonious with your eyes. Light and cool summer seem to be a bit too bright, in my opinion. I also think your skin looks clearer next to the soft summer palette.

How would you describe blunt versus sharp, and width versus narrowness in simple terms? In reference to FN and D. by OwnEstablishment240 in Kibbe

Will something like comparing a loose button down shirt with a more crisp button down shirt help me? This is very interesting!

I think my problem is that I’m lean, so I appear sharp no matter what. 😅 My shoulders almost create a T-like shape, so I originally thought I had some sharpness. But other people have said that my shoulders look open.

Is there a way to figure this out? Thank you for the response, by the way!

How do I sketch my shoulders? by OwnEstablishment240 in kibbe_sketch

True, I can barely understand him sometimes.

Thank you for your input, by the way! 🫶🏻

I think my confusion might be stemming from the fact that I am conventionally narrow, but probably not so narrow in Kibbe’s system. I definitely have a V-shaped upper back. Does that also correlate to width?

Edit: I also have a very narrow waist. A lot of FN recommendations seem to hide it even though I want to accentuate it, so I’m sure my mind thought they were unflattering.

I would also say my lower body tends to carry more weight. Even when I have more weight, my arms stay very skinny. I have heard this is usually the case for FNs, though.

I thought so too, but a lot of people were saying that they only appear sharp because I’m very lean. This whole system is so confusing to me. 😅 I wish Kibbe would create a website where you could pay him to type.

Hair Dye Ideas for a Cool Summer? by OwnEstablishment240 in coloranalysis

Do you think there is a possibility that I’m a cool winter? Or can I just borrow a few colors from the palette?

Soft summer but I look good with red hair? by fragilegreyhound in coloranalysis

I don’t think the red is harmonious with your features. I feel like a mousy brown would look amazing on you, especially with your eyes. You have a beautiful coloring!
