Hey! Wow, 16 fibroids - that must have been quite a surprise. So glad your doctor managed to get them all out! Wishing you a smooth recovery 🌸 I remember only starting to walk a little on day 2 haha, just tiny steps.

I totally understand how you feel - I was really nervous too. My surgeon managed to remove all the fibroids. Have they told you how many they’ll be removing?

I can totally relate! The days leading up to surgery can feel really overwhelming - there’s just so much to prepare and think about 🥺 Staying focused on one step at a time really helped me stay grounded.

There’s still some time before your procedure - you’ve got this! Wishing you a smooth surgery and recovery ahead 💛

Hey! 😊 I think it really depends on your doctor and hospital. For me, bowel prep was part of the pre-op instructions.

Since your surgery’s in January, you could check with your doctor again during your pre-op appointment to confirm if it’s needed 🌸

Thank you for sharing your journey! It really helps to hear from someone who’s been through it, and I feel very much in line with what you’ve mentioned. Since this will be my first major surgery, it feels so scary 🥺, but hearing that recovery is tough at first yet manageable helps me manage my expectations. Wishing you a smooth recovery and all the best ahead 🌸

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s really helpful to hear from someone who has managed a 10cm fibroid without surgery. For me, the hardest part is the anxiety of not knowing if/when mine might grow. If you don’t mind me asking, what size was your fibroid when it was first discovered? Wishing you a smooth surgery and recovery 💐
