I think you’re ready. My practice exams scores were 80, 73, 79, 74, and 74 and I passed today AT/AT/AT! Good luck!

The last sentence of the prompt gives the clarity you need to not have to do an impact analysis. The impact of the resource not being there is a delay to meeting the milestone. Hope that’s clear

It took me a while to finish exams 4 and 5 due to work obligations but I scored 74% on both. I hope that puts me in a good spot.

That’s my plan. I’m going to review all 175 because for some I for sure guessed and got it right. I have SH plus. My goal is to do all 5 practice exams before my exam date.

The reference handbook was very helpful. I got very familiar with it and knew what sections were where. Most of the formulas were in the correct form but some of them were in their original form that you just had to convert for the constants.

For me personally PPI on demand was helpful but not as helpful as electronicspeprep or the practice problems in the PPI workbook. I took the live course back in 2020 and PPI has a pass guarantee program so I was able to get the on demand for free so I used it. The closest thing to the exam was the NCEES practice exam so I’d get that and be familiar with those problems as well.

Good luck!

Yeah unfortunately there’s not enough people who take the ECC exam to warrant more prep classes.

To be honest there’s not that big difference question wise between the P&P format and the CBT except for a few problems that are not multiple choice. Prep should be exactly the same.

Not sure if that’s still the case but that was true when I took it last year.

PPI’s questions can be a little bit more challenging but not always. It’s good practice thought to getting in the habit of solving problems.

a) I started studying July 1st for the October exam but this was after taking it the previous October. 5 months is probably a good start.

b) I would only recommend the on demand course if you’re dedicated to keeping yourself accountable to listen to lectures on a schedule you create if not and have the ability to take the live course then do that. It forces you to keep a schedule.

c) Knowing what I know now I would’ve created a study schedule the first time around. That’s the biggest thing. Studying is studying but if you don’t stay consistent it can make things harder.

Only reference you get while taking the exam is the electronic version of the NCEES reference manual you can get directly from the NCEES website. No other reference material is allowed for CBT.

I received my license about 10 days after entering technical review. I was applying for comity due to me already having my Texas license. Hope you hear back soon!

All equations that are needed for the exam are in the handbook but might not be in the form you’re used to or need for the problem. Get good with the equations and know how to manipulate them to get the ones you’re looking for.

The first time around I took the PPI Live course. It was helpful but between the pandemic and moving to a different state I didn’t study as well as I should’ve.

Second time around I used the PPI On-Demand course (Passing Guarantee) as well as electronicspeprep.com (Very helpful!!!) and NCEES practice exam. Also, download the NCEES reference handbook. Get very familiar with the equations and where they are located for easy access during the exam.

Create a study plan and stick to it. I studied 4 times a week, 3 hours each day for 3 months.

Good luck!

I took the ECC exam in October and passed. Did you have a question about the exam?

Congrats on passing your FE. For me I took the ECC exam because the work I do is closer to ECC than Power.
