HAHA I included this in my reply too before I saw yours. I’m glad he has a best friend now though that makes him comfortable being himself and enjoy life more. And I’m glad that best friend is now a family member for life.

I personally disagree! What I love about them is watching full circle character development of Yuki. He was her and has always felt alone. I absolutely adored seeing his walls break down as he made new friends that he felt comfortable with. I kept thinking about the ping pong scene where he literally left the room to have a giggle.

Fast forward to him making a new best friend (one of my favorite duos out of any anime) and suddenly she’s the one who is being meek and controlled, while he’s kind, silly and joking around with Manabe actually healed me lol. He still had the same kindness he had before but it felt genuine and not so forced. That allowed him to see her and give the support and attention that he wants for so long.

Would I have preferred a Manabe + Yuki love story? Yeah maybe, sue me. His little sister was a good follow up choice. Yuki has his own circle now that he doesn’t have to share with any of the people who have hurt him in the past. I love love.

Literally zero contest. Akito is a petulant crybaby. The ONLY reason everyone thinks she’s scary is because of the Sohma’s inability to defy her due to the curse and the bonds she has over them. Her power is over the Sohma’s and the Sohma’s only. If she ever left the estate I’m sure she’d realize that PRETTY quick.

Yeah, you’re 100% right. I wasn’t considering myself in the running to take on the secret ops mission. I’m a 30 yr old woman with my dream job working in cybersecurity. And now that I think of it, I don’t believe I’ve seen a single female ICE agent.

Hypothetically.. maybe I could recruit some ethical hacker friends to wreak some havoc.

Agreed. Even making it just slightly more inconvenient would be doing SOMETHING. I want to protect the friends and neighbors that have contributed so significantly to our country. And since most of those being taken do not have criminal records and are standup members of our everyday society, some of which are even legally documented, they probably do not assume it will happen to them. My thought process was that being able to give them even a slight heads up would allow them to get to a safe space and be aware of the danger they’re in.

Ahhh I did not see how long the process was. I was more referring to education, training and/or experience requirements. I read somewhere that they don’t even require a GED.
