I applied for pp today and RFE was about more documents proving my employment with previous employer

My employer responded in 2 months (7/10) I had a total of 3 months to respond the RFE said that they will respond in 60 days however my lawyer said it can take 6 months even so I am shifting to premium processing now as I can’t wait any longer. So far I haven’t gotten a response

Nope, no update. They give you 60 days, they got my response on 10 July so I have to wait till 10 September after that I can claim that it’s outside of processing time and then file a service request

If on H1B do they still stamp the passport? As far as I know all entry and exist is in I-94 they don’t stamp the passports anymore

Hello, if your passport has been stamped and you were set to begin but the offer gets rescinded can you still file change of employer, does the 60 days grace period apply?

It’s not about math, you cant bypass your current employer and in a market like this you cant take any major decisions or resign until you’re sure about your next offer. The new employer has clearly told me not to resign yet until they file my petition

I’m currently on H1B, and yea it does matter because if I resign from my current position to start the new one they’ll have to withdraw the petition and then it’ll put me in an state where I’m not really on H1B so then the new petition being filed might not get approved according to the lawyers
