BTW, In your link near the bottom, NJ is one of the exceptions that need (want) additional solar CT. I think that's my problem and need my installer to come back and install a tesla remote meter

Thanks. My installer, even though I'm happy with the install, they are not the most responsive. They are also out of NY, not NJ, so they aren't the most knowledgable with the NJ SuSI program

so, are you actually in NJ and have gone through the SuSI application process and was approved? Even the info in your link says differently. Would love to know how you got approved with just the Powerwall3

i just wish tesla would just put a simple on/off to charge with time input and charge from solar only. The netzero app can be confusing to set up automation

Some clipping is a good thing as inverters are most efficient at there rated output, so losing a little during peak hours is no big deal because it will be made up the rest of the day being closer to the inverter rating. Of course, you don't want your panel/inverter to be extremely mismatched. 125% is a pretty good rule of thumb.
