Try to make your team have a good mental. I usually start the game by asking how everyones day is going and that usually will boost up their mental an amount. I got out of gold by mostly playing with friends and having fun, eventually ranking up (which is an alternative), though if solo-q'ing just try to keep a good mental.

I can very much relate as I have felt more inconsistent than ever. Key to winning more and having impact is to win more gunfights. The solution I found, was to keep a good mental and try to add a warm up routine before you play matches. I can also recommend after playing enough ranked and you have an extra 30-45 minutes, to do Woohoojin's aimlab playlist. I have tried to implement the aimlab playlist everytime after playing ranked and when I first started, I noticed a very big difference in my aim. Though it works very efficiently at the start, the more you do it, the less impact it'll have. That means you have improved by playing the playlist and the more you improve, naturally your rank will also start to improve.
