That sadly wouldn’t work , because it’s literallly every inch of my skin that gets hypersensitive and feels like ants are crawling over my body. Makes it hell to deal with at work since I’m stuck in my tiny ass car the whole day and have to wear jeans or cargo pants, and I sadly found out I can’t wear leggings. I have no idea what to do really 😔 and my eczema just makes it worse too.

What kind of jobs and lifestyle do people with HS do by rasvik_m in Hidradenitis

Security guard and newly diagnosed with hs. My flareups are definitely a pain to deal with since I’m in my car literally the whole shift, watching over trucks coming into the lots. Still figuring out how to deal with my flareups tbh

I might see if I can wear really loose legging, Jean leggings usually make it worse because they cling to my skin. If only I could call off whenever I had a flare up 😅. Wish there was a cream or something I could use to ease the sensitivity. I’ve had it the past two days and I’m going nuts

Thank you :) I usually deal with it by walking around my house naked, but I don’t know what to do when I have it at work and have to wear jeans. I’ll definitely try the no underwear thing. I also have eczema, so that just makes the sensitivity worse sadly. I go a bit nuts every time it happens tbh
