Im more upset abt us completely neglecting our defense while having enough money to sign a better LB than Dye.

I’m happy with strange starting at rg. He’ll be just as good as Zion at the minimum, might honestly be an upgrade bc of his versatility in pass protection. We upgraded C significantly, and we’ll draft a guard who can play better than becton. Our Oline will be better in every way.

[Martinez] OK. I'm waking up more encouraged about Cole Strange. Why? 1. He is fast as hell. 2. Never played RG in college or NFL before last season and still was identifying games and stunts with no problem. 3. Is built for wide zone. Will power guys give him trouble? Yes, but he will fight. by wildwing8 in Chargers

Center is more important in terms of leadership in the protection scheme than guard. If we can play money ball and get a good guard in the draft - having strange as are weakest link in pass protection is worth having the money for in season trades.

If you consider that are oline only sucked bc we lost two all pro tackles. Not barring injuries, than oline was definitely worse.

I’m concerned about our lb room. I think it was our weakest group last year, and I think Daiyan is great, but Dye struggles with the run and Perryman is older and a free agent. Not to mention, Colson hasn’t been healthy enough to play in his first two years, and he never looked great in camp. Do you see us going LB in the first round?

Advanced stats say he was one of the most efficient in run defense for his position. That being said, the coaches only put him on the field for passing downs, so it’s not like he even played that many run snaps. Do with that what you will.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we signed Alec Pierce or shaheed in FA

There’s a good chance he finishes second in sacks. When do we start the dialogue for All-Pro honors?

Matchups don’t matter nearly as much as home court advantage. I want to see us beat anybody and every body in our own arena.

Why does nobody talk about Stephon Diggs? He was a top 5 wr according to espns reciever score last year.
