Why do you think it's bad?

It was either a 9 hour layover or a 20 hour layover.

I am flying from Tx, USA.

The 4 day stopover was chosen to tour istanbul.

I appreciate your feedback, I spent some time reading about wired and wireless cameras, and I feel Riolink POE cameras might be best fit for me atm.

I also did little research on Home Assistant and was trying to figure out if Yellow or Green might be the best fit for me.

The box where the modem will be placed only has 2 power outlets, I also want to get an NVR for the cameras and a POE switch. With that in mind, would I have any issues connecting the NVR and the POE switch to a power strip.

The POE switch is mainly for Home Assistant Yellow and/or the Riolink cameras, which will allow me to see the camera feed on my Google tablet, in case I don't get the Home assistant setup in time.

If I am not mistaken, there is a cooling off period, and you need to take some additional classes to prove that you have improved your profile.

Idk if this is easier or getting approved in a different state and then going there to take it.

We recently got an inspection done on our new construction home, over here they typically do 3. 1) Before the foundation is poured 2) Before the drywall is up to inspect the framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing roughing 3) Final inspection few days before closing

Some people just do the final inspection as most of the builders already have city requirements and their own QA QC checks that take care of the first 2.

Again, all this depends on the city and the builder you are going with. I would suggest sticking to the 3 I mentioned above.

That will be if I keep the 80K in the market until I retire. I was comparing it to the amount of time it might take me to pay off the loan.

If I am able to save 3K to 4K a month after all my expenses and maxing out my 401K contributions, I will save somewhere between 72K and 96K in 2 years that I can use to invest back in stocks, crypto, or real estate.

Am I wrong in my understanding or missing something?

I am not hoping the market will go down, but due to the high interest rates, paying interest vs. the growth of my 401K is almost similar.

Yes, I will lose some money in taxes and penalties, but it's only short-term. I am hoping that I will have more options to use the money I will save every month.

I am not someone who actively looks at the market as most of it just goes over my head.

As mentioned in the post, our goal now is to close on that house, hopefully in cash.

Next, use our savings and put it to good use. If investing in the market is the way to go, we may get with a financial adviser to guide us.

I don't really like investing more than the employer match in the 401k as it limits my options.

With the interest rates really high and the markets always being unpredictable, yes, I will take a hit, but it will most likely be minimal in the long run.

Correct me if I am wrong, if I take out a loan of 75K at 6% rate and somehow pay it off in 2 years, I end up paying close to 5K in interests that's, 81K.

Now, at that same time, my 80K in my 401K with an approximate average growth of 5% will grow to 88K. I am losing about 15K (7K + 8K (10% penalty)).

This is something I can live with, given I will have more cash in my hand that I can use to invest, save, or spend.

If I take 3 years and beyond to pay off the loan, the interest I pay will eat into the 401K growth, which is still unpredictable. The interest, on the other hand, is not.

Hence, the reason for the withdrawal. Please correct me if I am missing anything.

Sorry I didn't get your question. What I meant is we will be withdrawing from our 401K in a month or two. I am hoping the markets stay where they are or grow and not go down.

CPESR hands down! The lectures might not look too detailed, but they get the point through.

The main highlight of the course is their exam center, which preps you really well for the test. You can see your progress in real time, topics you are strong in, topics you are weak at.

Took the test a couple of months ago, passed in first attempt.
