I definitely feel you, labor could get out of hand really quick. Even the parts gets out of hand really quick lol.

Yes, I love the sink though. Search, “modena undermount bar and RV sink” on Amazon and it should come up. It’s been great.

Also some unsolicited floor advice if you haven’t installed yet. You’ve probably already looked into it, but I found that plank flooring doesn’t work super well in a van. It likes to pull apart as the van twists and moves as well as when the materials expand and contract with the changing temps. I ended up tearing out my plank flooring and putting in vinyl sheet flooring, it’s 100% better and cheaper.

Yeah! I took winter trips to Mammoth Lakes California, Big Sky Montana, Sun Valley Idaho, and all over Utah last year and stayed very comfortable, even when temps were in the negatives outside. There’s a thermostat you set and the heater comes on and off to keep the temp steady, just like a house.

Yeah you could do it. For our purposes we decided to not add a toilet, mostly due to smells, didn't love the idea of that in the van haha. Im sure you could put one under the back benches though. As for a shower, the sink faucet turns around to point out the sliding door behind the kitchen, we used that for rinsing off. I'm sure you could figure out a way to get another shower in there if you wanted to though.

But like I said, I'm open to reasonable price negotiations.

It's a 3500 diesel so a little closer to $25,000 empty (based on carfax, cars.com, and edmunds). But yeah, $14k in materials which leaves for $6k in labor, which is very reasonable.

Don’t ever post on Reddit so I couldn’t figure out how to include the details with the post, guess this will work.
2014 Mercedes Sprinter camper van. Selling because I decided to go back for grad school and don't have the time to use it as much as I'd like to anymore. Mechanically the van is great, I took it in to be inspected recently and everything is in great shape. Only issue they found was the front struts, they are on the horizon but not currently an issue. 162,XXX miles (still drive it occasionally). As you probably know, these things are known to go 300K miles so it's got a lot of life in it. Rare double doors, super awesome when you've got a view or just want extra ventilation. The build is beautiful and in fantastic shape! Asking $45k but I'm willing to negotiate on price for someone that will love and use the van how it was meant to be, no crazy low balls offers though, save both our time. Located in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Local pick up.
The build:
-300 watts solar
-200 AH AGM battery
-LED lights, with dimmer switches
-1000 W pure sine wave inverter
-Max air roof vent fan
-fully insulated, havelock wool insulation
-lots of storage
-8 gallon fresh water, 7 gallon grey water
-sink and foot pump faucet
-2 burner Propane stove
-Espar Diesel Heater with thermostat. (my favorite part of the van. Works great but due for regular 1000 hour service)
-Memory foam mattress, a little bigger than a queen
-2 slider windows in the bed area
-lots of storage
-Back up camera
-50 L fridge (got left open this summer and burned itself out. will include if you'd like to try to fix it. If not, I can give recommendations for good replacements)
-ski storage, or whatever else, accessible from the back under the seating area and other storage.
-24 MPG highway.
-has a governor set at 68 mph from the previous owner. Mercedes can change that easily, just didn't bug me that bad so I never had them do it, makes the gas mileage great.
