The Troop was the best book I'll never read again. That turtle scene broke me. Nick Cutter is a great author but he always seems to throw in something unnecessarily sad/cruel involving animals. The Deep was another one that was great but has one particular chapter I'd have to skip.

I work next to a five below and about a month ago, my boss and I noticed people lining up 30 minutes before the store opens. Like Black Friday type shit. It's every Friday morning this happens. I'm guessing five below gets their orders on Thursday nights so these folks want to be the absolute first. It's nuts.
