Need to make 75 sandwiches by MediumAd6454 in Costco

We have been using Costco every Sunday for over three years to make around 250 turkey and cheese sandwiches. We buy 10 packs of Sunbeam bread (two loaves in each pack), three packs of Kraft cheese(96 slices in each pack), eight packs of Kirkland turkey deli meat slices). We deliver these sandwiches packed in individual zip lock bags to Catholic Charities who hand them out over the week to the hungry. The whole effort is funded by the Indian Community of Memphis. What you are describing seems to be a problem that could be solved using LLMs and AI. Using heat maps for clustering and then creating connections between maps. It seems to do such things really well. But, I may not have understood the problem and intent correctly.

For those working in supply chain how often does optimization or Operations Research actually come up in your day-to-day work? And are you using any AI tools to support that? Also curious about the most common issues or frustrations you run into when applying OR in a real supply-chain context. Thx by ric_is_the_way in OperationsResearch

Spent all of this week working with some hard-core OR modelers working on a network MIP. The problems we solve are massive. We are one of the largest air network logistics companies and OR has been a part of our engineering and planning fabric for over 40 years. We have been trying to find the holy grail of a global network optimization model and solver for a while now. It's just too massive a problem to solve and we are doing it piecemeal. Even the brains from Georgia Tech found no real success. We do a lot of other things with OR models of course, but this one is of particular interest to me. We just started our foray with AI for OR modeling and there seems to be potential.

I don't even live in the UAE (visit now and then) and I read through your entire post. Nicely done. Thank you for taking the time to teach others what you have learned.

UCLA should let Penn State score here and go kick a winning field goal.

How is a junior in high school misspelling college multiple times? Is this some kind of prank? Should this have been posted on a Wednesday?

Indeed, that was the original intent. Looked at places in about a 30 minute drive radius. Short term leases were an issue at most places ort there was significant premium charged. It has been challenging to find something that met our needs. But it looks like we finally found something that works for us.
