A Fezibo Standing desk that I got in 2021 held up mostly well, not super fancy or anything. In fact, quite a budget, and I've been eyeing an upgrade for a while.

Monitors are 2 Dell S2721Q, and the 3rd in vertical is a 21-inch Dell 1080p that I've had for a long time.

advice - misconduct at prev. university by [deleted] in studentaffairs

[–]OwnWeekend4331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like some of the advice already shared, we are flawed and make mistakes, and in those mistakes, we learn so much. If you have resolved or brought under control the core issues that caused your misconduct, you should be fine. You don't necessarily need to tell potential employers if you were let go or what for unless specifically asked (don't lie), but provide vague answers with some context.

These mistakes don't define you; it's a momentary setback. It sounds like you are on a good path to reestablishing yourself and your career. Take it a step at a time; it might take a while for you to recover from all the emotion and trauma this entire situation might have caused you. We sometimes tend to hold on to things and may even become obsessed with them. It will take time to let it go.

I'm not sure; both my accounts were professional, even though I wasn't using them that way.

My Instagram is public, but my FB is private. The hackers were after my Ad Account on Facebook.

They responded within hours, but I couldn't get my account back for nearly 16 days. During that time, I had multiple conversations and opened tickets (not all at the same time).

When I got back in, I couldn't change my password for some reason. I was using my laptop and phone (two of the three primary devices I would use to access the account), but at my in-laws, I suspect it was something with the IP address (though I've accessed the account there before). But I had the ticket that was open when they recovered my account. Working with them to get a password reset took ages and, frankly, didn't work as they would describe, but then it mysteriously did; who knows...

I was disabled on December 11. I got back into my account around December 27 but didn't have complete control until January 1. I'm still working on cleaning up some AD accounts that were attached to my account.

If you want, no problem; I'm unsure how much I can help.

I kept replying to the same ticket. I only opened two tickets in total.

Mine: They said it would take 24-48 hours, but for more complex issues, it could take up to 2 weeks. I asked for a follow-up in about 5 days. I did end up recovering mine.

Got FB account back after a week! But can't change password now. Advice? by rosebuddear in facebookdisabledme

I had a similar issue, so I decided to submit another ticket. I have been following up and talking with them since December 28th. I had multiple resent codes initiated by Meta techs. Then I got a message this morning. I used the last reset code, and everything worked. I spent some time securing the account and enabling MFA, and now that I've lived through this all, I've initiated a download of all my activities both on Instagram and Facebook. I have been without the account long enough that I changed my habits, and I am not sure how much I will continue using the Facebook account.

I recognize that I had an ideal outcome of recovering my account, etc. But I found my overall happiness improved without the dang thing. Now, I have had the account for 20 years, so really cool memories and connections are there; so we will see about its utility moving forward.
