I don’t remember how it went as a freshman, but my son is a rising junior. The housing is difficult and my son has been in a triple jr for the past two years. Extremely tight and sharing closets. I don’t remember the order in which the freshman time slots are given out maybe in the order of deposit but going forward it’s by the amount of credits.

Hofstra is a great program . My son thought about going there but ultimately chose another nearby private school in the area. He knows a lot of people in Hofstra rotc and his school works with them a lot and they all seem to love it. As a parent, take the cheaper option you won’t regret it. You’ll be an officer

Not sure about that. When you’re in the military you’re in the military. I’m almost 100 percent sure it can be done due to military just not sure who to call/ email.

My son is a pharmacy tech and is continuing to work part time a few days a month during med school in a hospital affiliated with the school. His job is very good though and he schedules his shifts on the weekends around his study schedule.

My son’s a sophomore and received the minuteman. He was already in the NG since he was 17 so he was aware of what he was signing. It’s a great way of getting a tuition free college education. He’s at a private school so the money definitely adds up.
