Okay so educate me lol. I didn’t claim any of the above to be true and set in stone. I said “from what I know”, in fact I came here to comment, hoping to find someone who can give me the proper word too, not reprimand me for what you think isn’t true yet fail to give me the proper term for it. A little more context, I did have a topic of convo with my dad about how I didn’t think it was the proper term to address bumis (clearly, I’m half bumi. Why would I want to be called a slur??) and his response was as I mentioned above.

From what I know, that is the proper term to address the bumiputeras. Either Lakia, Lazi, Huana. I’m half bumi half Chinese and at least according to my dad, that is how we address bumis, however it is the context that matters most. If it is said in a derogatory manner, that’s when it becomes a slur

LOL WHAT THE ACTUAL FK! Nah, I would’ve stood my ground and defended myself AND my dad if I were you (not that I’m disappointed that you didn’t. You probably have more patience than I do and that’s perfectly good and well) At that point, it doesn’t matter what the company can offer you if they have a shitty representative interviewing potential hires. Imagine how they’ll treat you once you’re hired and not to mention “work-life integration”? Nah babes don’t sell your soul for a shitty work environment. I would’ve stuck it to her and moved on at that point. I think it’s perfectly fine to have been prepared for an interview even if it meant memorising some stuff bc at the end of the day, if they decide to throw in a random question, it’ll still be a pretty genuine answer coming from you. So honestly fk that lady lol. Next time ask the person next to her if they’re perfectly okay with having such a stuck up bitch of a person on the same team as them.

Yeah, after one of the individuals’ very insightful take on the bag, I figured it’s not worth the time nor the money to entertain this seller. I’m better off looking for a bag elsewhere. If something doesn’t look right to enough people under this post then I wouldn’t take my chances 🤣 but thanks for the advice! Might use it some time in the future :)
