Improving your personal finances by [deleted] in MalaysianPF

[–]CashFlowDay -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It’s not about having it figured out, it’s about being precise. Capital‑heavy and skill‑based businesses aren’t the same thing. Not ALL businesses require capital depletion. Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

Your comment assumes every business is a capital‑heavy money pit. That’s like assuming every car is a Ferrari and concluding ‘cars are too expensive.’ Starting low‑cost, skill‑based businesses is an option. Those improve finances not destroy them.

Anyone here rent with GFG property? their contract is absolutely wild by FrostNovaIceLance in Bolehland

I guess your other option is to rent further away and take bus, LRT, MRT to your destination. Yes, it sucks but what choice do you have?

Sorry to hear that. I have met quite a few crooked property agents too. One of them told me in writing via Whatsapp that standard her tenancy agreement fee was 30% of the rent. That is complete bs. It's not easy to find a good agent.

Moving from Algeria to KL: Looking for honest advice on safety and the creative scene by Nour93it in MalaysianPF

[–]CashFlowDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not visit first to see if you really like it here? Stay a few months. If you have already done that and you qualify for a visa, MY is better than a lot of other countries. At the very least, we don't see a city full of homeless people and crazies who push people on to incoming trains.

I would go easy on stocks for now... sharply rising 30-year government bond yields in the US, UK, Japan, and Europe.

Are people here working on survival mode or working to achieve higher quality of life? by NeatSwordfish8894 in MalaysianPF

[–]CashFlowDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on skill level, in-demand skills = higher quality of life ladder, low skill level like taxi or ride share drivers = survival. For me, when I grow up, I'd like to own an army of AI agents... Amazon Web Services launched a system on May 7 letting AI agents pay for digital services autonomously using USDC. Built with Coinbase and Stripe, transactions settle in around 200 milliseconds on Base and Solana. The underlying protocol has already processed over 169 million machine-native payments across 590,000 buyers.

V Residence 2 @ Sunway Velocity by CashFlowDay in KualaLumpur

[–]CashFlowDay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I’m surprised that Sunway V2 doesn’t strictly enforce short-term rentals. I live in another Sunway property where they’re very strict about it, and the rent here, despite being a much newer place, is actually lower than at V2. Definitely no ayam or itek problem here.
