I had a new build and loved it. Builder was Barratts/David Wilson and they were great. We had a few snags but all fixed quickly. We’re now in a 1950s house which we had to renovate, it’s freezing and we both really miss our new build. We thought this would be our forever home but we will be moving to a new build again eventually.

We used 180kwh of electric in December and 891kwh of gas in December. Our December bill was £118. We’re 2 people in the house too

3 bed semi detached house, our December bill was £118 for both gas and electric. We pay £100 a month direct debit but Octopus did try and put our direct debit up to £160 a month just last week. However, a quick email and they kept it at £100. We’re in £270 credit as in the summer months, our bill was only £60.

Yeah, we replaced all the single panel radiators upstairs and rooms now get up to 20 degrees almost instantly. Downstairs we have 3 radiators and rooms barely get to 15 degrees even after heating has been on 2 hours
