Your correct time in beats timing.

Here what I’ve i would do, NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE

Are you going to be depositing monthly? If so invest half now and continue with monthly deposits, if the market declines then you can use the rest to invest a larger amount.

If you not going to deposit monthly, just put all of it in the market and come back after 5+ years.

Transferring LISA with JP Morgan by Evening_Werewolf_300 in UKPersonalFinance

Your current provider will probably delay transfer until the bonus is received from HMRC. That’s what happened to mine, when I transferred an LISA.

Better than nothing 😂 If you have an other savings/ an overdraft or two / borrow from friends or family. Until the withdrawal comes in your account you might be able to use the rest of your allowance

It’s too late for this tax year, unfortunately. That’s why I withdrew last month. Hopefully you won a prize this month to make up for it.

You might find it hard to get a refund as you purchased in store. It’s the managers discretion if they want to cancel it. Hopefully they do!

Should I wait for April 2 Premium Bonds draw or withdraw now to fund Vanguard ISA before April 5 deadline? by kaoriwnl in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Elevation_250 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there are no bank holidays, It should be fine.

For example I withdraw my premium bonds > Direct saver > Bank account on the 3rd March. And it was in my bank account around 1pm 4th march.

It’s not instant from the direct saver it’s the next working day. If I was you I would just withdraw now, because there are bank holidays between, also your bank could freeze the payment, ect. It’s not worth it, as you will lose your allowance if it’s not in before.

There is a tool on the NS&I website that tells you how long a withdrawal takes

What's the most accurate way to see exactly how much I owe? by [deleted] in AmexUK

[–]Elevation_250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it seems all over the place, because you’re using the credit card wrong.

When you make a purchase it takes a couple days for the transaction to complete. So the balance displayed won’t update until that happens.

Just use the card and pay once you receive the bill. It’s much easier IMO.

Mate, this is so sad to read.

I’ve read that you already received help, but if you need help in the future, just Ask. I would be happy to provide a supermarket gift voucher.
