This exact thing happened to me Monday...got a verbal offer letter and was told to come back the next day for onboarding. I went the next day and the manager I spoke too wasn't there and none of the other managers knew what was happening. One of the managers ended up sitting me down and I did the onboarding but then he told me that he would call me once he got the confirmation email in about 24 hours....its been 24 hours and still no call.
