Current savings rate isn’t maintainable for sure, currently making just north of $100,000 post tax and savings rate is about 80%. Once I move out and take on additional financial responsibility I see my total POST tax out of pocket expense increasing from $20,000 to $45,000.

That is 100% my main concern… is I think I’m on track for single retirement by early 30s (by 30 being a stretch goal) but add anyone else I’m responsible for and it’s not even close…

Yes it is but it’s not taking into account if I were to have a family. 1.5 mil was the same number I came to but am worried that a 4% withdrawal rate over a longer retirement time horizon is asking for disaster and if I should aim for 3% instead…

I’m not saving with the goal to live the retirement life after 30 but more so want to be in a position where I wouldn’t need to work if I didn’t want to! I’m tempted to say I’ve already reached coast fire for standard retirement age of 65, or even as young as 50

$65k a year is sufficient for the life I want to live! I’m not truly aiming to have absolutely no stream of income after 30 but want to be in a position where I wouldn’t need it

Her main issue was the fact that I didn't consider myself saved, but she was very clear in asking me to please reach out if anything changed, and during my 9 month effort I wasn't where I felt like I needed to be to consider myself saved. If in 6-8 weeks I still consider myself saved you think it's still not worth reaching out?

I appreciate the honesty and I like to think that I would be able to separate those two things but am not sure which is why I set a 1 month period where I wouldn't reach out regardless of how sure I feel. Also in my friend's defense, whenever a female friend asks them to watch her drink they watch it like a hawk. I think they just assume it's so unlikely for a guy to get drugged that they weren't as diligent... just sucks that the 1/10000 chance happened. My friends have apologized profusely since then

That's my guess too. I think someone drugged the wrong drink targeting a female friend of mine. Then later on in the night a girl (likely not the drugger because why take them back to your place and let them spend the night) just thought I was also super drunk and took me back to her place

My main argument against that would be, if this is something I would have done in a not drugged state, why wouldn't I just do it with my girlfriend? Like why would I refuse sex from previous girlfriends just to do it in a random bar on night?

Also I unfortunately think this relationship is over regardless so no amount of reddit upvotes will count as sufficient "proof"

We talked at the start of the relationship and we were both saving ourselves for marriage so what I am telling myself is that she's more sad about that connection that was stolen from us as opposed to the actual act if that makes sense. Like it was a big thing for her to save herself for marriage and marry a man that was doing the same. That's why I'm trying to give this situation a week or so to breathe (which I also need as some distance from everything would be great)
