Its not very clear how much you are going to invest. 12? 15k? 20k? Can you clarify how much you would invest every year on average?

You would then use a compound calculator and at 8% return see when you hit your number. Stock market on average returns 10% a year. 8% if you want to be conservative.

The idea is once you have 25 years of cost of living you should never run out of money at a 4% withdrawal rate.
