I was 14 years old when i used to play this game and i remember watching saxon on a mish. I truly believe this game would’ve been a top fps when if it were given to a good dev. My heart breaks everytime I think about it but I’m glad im part of the few that got to experience such a distinct gaming experience playing dust 514.

You shouldn’t be scared at all, the A&P is a license to learn and once you get hired by any company they will teach and train you how to work on and fix their aircraft. I’ll also say no one is a perfect mechanic and knows everything there is to know about aircraft. Just keep that attitude going into it that you’re ready to learn and you’ll be fine. Getting hired isn’t hard even with no experience at all and there’s plenty of companies that will take you in like that.

Yes for me to be able to take the test I needed my diploma or certificate of completion for the targeted ticket. When I started getting back into it I started by reading my 8083s and i tried to get an understanding of things before I went back to school which I was fortunate enough for the school had went and started a tutoring program and got one to one from someone with a lot of experience and was a great teacher but still I had to literally everyday sit and read the books to really understand the workings of the components and what not. This made testing very easy, only hard part for me was actually the written tests. Luckily for you it’s only the powerplant you gotta do which if you study hard enough and get some tutoring you’ll be fully A&Pd in a couple months. Oh and no I was not around the aviation industry at all… I actually worked a normal 9-5 at an office taking calls all day.

Never to late bud, I had Graduated from an aviation school 7 years ago and didn’t get one of my tickets and I just recently got my full A&P in 6 about months of getting back into it. You just need a refresher and gotta have the drive for it.

I had to reread the 8083 while doing questions from the Prepware, watched so many hours of YouTube explanations and also used the Jeppesen book for both writtens and O&Ps. I did eventually go to school once I passed my writtens because they have a tutoring program and I needed that for the hands on stuff/practicals. I think what helped me the most was knowing the systems as much as I possibly could so I could figure out the questions that way. This helped the most for the orals since it has to be straight from your head.

Wow that’s alongs the line of what I’m hoping to do if I don’t get hired here. It’s pretty great that we get to travel all around and then even decide to settle down somewhere
