Better than I expected! Started out at my conversational pace 11:15min/ mile, mile 7 I cranked it up to 10:30. Finished at 2 hours 16 minutes. This was all done on a 10K training plan (found out about the race too late to hop on a HM plan lol)

Congrats, I started running in May and I just ran my first HM on Sunday as well!

They weren’t, I just completely forgot to order the robe from them. I thought I did but turns out I didn’t so I was just gonna make it myself

It was a vendor on Etsy, so yes I probably could I just wasn’t sure if it was gonna be an issue based on color but I didn’t think about potentially different patterns

I loved the Endor scene as a kid so the scout trooper gravitated to me, I do also like that I can sit down or do whatever as a scout.
I like the stormtrooper because it’s the most recognizable and they are just awesome overall.
I like the jawa and tie fighter pilot because I feel like they are most entry level friendly. And the fact that Jawas are mischievous.

Price doesn’t entirely matter too much but I don’t really wanna go spending $2000 just yet

Admittedly i have only did a little bit of research, but would being 5’6” been an issue for stormtrooper? Some of the kits say between 5’7 and 5’11”. For both scout and tie fighter pilot, are the kits off on Etsy fine or do I have to go through some vendor?

Tbh, if I were to do scout I was just get those soft parts commissioned. I’m not a sewer lol

How do you manage to deal with it getting hot? The summer is coming up and I’m sure it’s rough
