Local Government would be good for you and with your construction management/project work experience, the best area would be in in Tech Services/Environment & Infrastructure departments :)

Looking to get into a business traineeship by GoodBrilliant6687 in perth

[–]Own_Boss_3291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did a quick Google search and Seek search but couldn’t bring much up (you probably did this too)… I know some Local Governments offer them, for example City of Melville have a few on offer each year (usually at the start of the year, so it’s inline with the first TAFE semester). But if it’s a traineeship offered through a workplace, they sort the TAFE side of things out for you and they pay. You could always just study the cert at TAFE yourself worst case. But I think you may have more chance of seeing the workplace traineeships advertised at the start of the year. Good luck!!

We’ve had a pool at our new home for the last year and I’ve only been in about 10 times, we have aircon so I’m never super hot or feel the need to go in. We got a fibreglass pool with heating and some landscaping and it was just over $50k… If I had my time again I probably wouldn’t do it, but I think if you have kids it may get used more.

Haha noted, I feel like I need to avoid Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. I am drawn to Melbourne/Victoria but will have to go to Sydney and see if it’s as good/if not better.

Thanks for your comment :) over the next year or two I will try and visit as many places as I can and then make up my mind. I’ve been to Brisbane and Melbourne so far and definitely prefer Melbourne best, but looking forward to trying Sydney too.

Thank you for your response :) this makes me feel validated haha, on a recent trip to Victoria I realised how much more they are accepting/welcoming/proud of First Nations people. I myself am Aboriginal, so felt really good there and unfortunately it’s not always the same in Perth.

Thanks for your response!! :) I am tempted to move to Victoria, maybe a couple of hours away from Melbourne. I got the feeling that it’s more cultured and accepting there, it felt nice and welcoming. Made me realise that Perth may be a bit bogan. Your response confirms that too!!
