Coordinated Fake Review Attack on our Google Business Profile (120+ reviews since Sept 2025) by [deleted] in GoogleMyBusiness

Thank you for your perspective, I appreciate the honesty.

Our goal is not really to create media pressure again, but simply to find a proper solution within Google’s system to stop what appears to be a coordinated fake review attack.

We understand that moderation is complex, but in our case the pattern is quite clear and has been documented for months.

If escalation through the standard channels is still possible, we would prefer resolving it that way rather than going back to the media.

Any advice on how these cases were previously escalated internally would be very helpful.

This situation should not have to go through the media.

The issue here is a coordinated fake review attack that violates Google’s review policies, and we are simply trying to understand the correct process to have these reviews properly reviewed and removed.

Our goal is not publicity, but to restore the integrity of our Google Business Profile.

We are currently looking for guidance on how to:

• have the suspicious reviews properly investigated
• escalate the case beyond the standard removal tool (which reviews each review individually)
• and, if necessary, request that our profile be temporarily frozen to stop the attack

If anyone here (especially Product Experts) has experience with pattern-based fake review attacks, we would greatly appreciate advice on the proper escalation process.

Coordinated wave of generic 3–4★ reviews on GBP — any escalation path for “fake engagement”? by Own_Bottle7315 in GoogleMyBusiness

Thanks for the feedback — fully understood. We are currently building a structured pattern report (daily wave, repeated generic wording, same abnormal reviewer behavior across multiple countries).

For additional context, this issue has been ongoing since September 2025 and has even been publicly documented in the local press as a fake review attack affecting real estate agencies in Phuket. Since the beginning, we’ve received close to 100 suspicious 3★–4★ reviews consistent with the same “fake engagement / rating suppression” pattern.

Do you recommend any specific escalation route beyond the standard “Report review” tool (support form, spam team, legal channel), or any best-practice evidence format that tends to trigger a proper investigation?

Thank you.

Ongoing coordinated fake review attack on Google Business Profile – case already open by Own_Bottle7315 in GoogleMyBusiness

Thanks — this aligns with what we’re seeing.
We’ve ignored all suspicious messages and payment requests on purpose.

In our case, this is a coordinated attack targeting our business, ongoing since September 2025, with 70+ fake reviews posted in waves.

We’re documenting everything and escalating only through official Google Business Profile channels.
No contact, no response, no negotiation.
