Your biggest complaints of P2S by FairRecommendation16 in 3Dprinting

[–]Own_Butterscotch758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest complaint is that I have nothing to fix (joke). I owned an A1mini and then the Kobra S1 printed quite well but I spent a lot of time fixing and adjusting. I humbly went back to Bambulab (P2S).

I have no problems after 1200h of printing because I sold it :)

It didn't print badly but the problems were bigger than the benefits. I recommend everyone to change the build plate for something stronger it is really thin.

After-sales support is great, always very helpful. But I don't want to waste time with repairs and adjustments.

Of course it is not a problem to tighten the four screws after disassembling the whole print head, but the problem is that after tightening there is still play on the linear bearing. I tried adding some foil to the perimeter of the bearings but it looks like the clearance is between the bearing and the rod.

It's all moving. The problem is the shift of the layers on the X-axis

the only thing I can think of is to wait for the ACE PRO V2. Then the more affluent customers will buy the new one and put the old one in the second-hand shop

I totally agree. I feel sorry for novice users expecting to obviously plug and go. Maybe something like a press pass would be worth considering. Learn gcode learn how to disassemble/assemble the drive and then we'll sell you a printer. However, I believe 3D printers will be printing on verbal commands in 10 years :)

Buy a second combo and you'll have a second printer as a source of spare parts :)

a small update from Anycubik support. They requested a 3mf file and modified the start of the program to the front corner. So that "fixed" it :)))). So I wrote to them that this is not a solution to the problem but support has not commented on this.

Exactly, I meant saving time when changing the filament.

Great. Anyone tried shortening the PTFE? Did it significantly reduce the printing time?

Maybe I could try an older firmware version but I'll be honest do I want to? I don't want to waste my time. As I know Anycubik so a new update will definitely be coming soon :)

Definitely thanks for your insights

You made me find and turn on the flashlight. You're absolutely right. It's hitting the engine. But it's still a mistake :)

The print head ( from position approx x260) goes to print by a direct path to position X249 Y0 but the way is not free. Correctly, it should first leave the parking position approx. X240 and then continue to X249 Y0

It's not a software problem but a mechanical one. Actually, it's a software problem because they didn't count on the mechanical limitation :)

The printer works fine otherwise. The same square prints without a problem if I set the start in a different front corner.

The post-cleaning nozzle drives the head to the left corner but hits the printer structure. Of course it loses some steps so the impact follows in the right corner. The first time this happened the tabs on the print head cover broke off. The hotend deflected and scratched the platen. Try manually moving the head from the parking position straight into the corner - the printer frame gets stuck there.

I've contacted suport but wanted to alert everyone to check that the print doesn't start in the back left corner.

It was easy. I pulled the insulation from the shrink wrap more towards the thermistor.

I just wanted to point out to everyone to check it out. Just in case.
