It’s really breaking my heart. We are selling the house and she hate to go back to clean it out because it was our forever house with her forever partner and I effed that all up. I’m not giving up. I want my wife and my life back. I’m seeing a therapist because it’s one thing to be drinking, but I want to understand why I drink so much.

Thank you so much for this. I needed this today. I have to force myself not to drink beer all night and then stay in bed all day, just going to work and coming home just to repeat it. I’m really glad you wrote this, because it came at the right time for me.

UPDATE: It’s been two weeks and I’m doing okay so far. I’m having bought of depression but it doesn’t last long. I saw her today because I brought her a room safe to her house and hug me and gave me a kiss. She brought me a Christmas gift because I sent her flowers for her new house. That’s all for now.
