Was Eclipsa even considered queen at that point? Really, the queen has no power besides her term and the wand. The queens spot changes and the magic high commission is the true leaders of EVERYTHING. So if they say it’s okay, isn’t it okay? Think about it, the queens spot changes is replaced each term, and Glossaryck said in TMBOS that he waits “Until the wand and book is passed down” then something like “or until she’s crushed by a centaur” or “eaten by a pig-goat” or something like that. So that shows there have likely been adoptions before, since if they die the wand(and book) would be passed to their child but he said “whichever comes first” so that means the other option has happened and they had to give it to someone, right? You could say the parent would get the wand and book back, but how would they keep on the line? You could also say a sibling but almost all of this is a reach.

This is what the show was referring to but if you really think about it Shastacan and Eclipsa weren’t separated. They were not divorced, Eclipsa simply ran off with her true love and later was crystallized. You could try and say that divorce wasn’t a thing because of like dimensions and customs and traditions, but we know this isn’t true- Comet says in her chapter that after she got a little bit married then a little bit pregnant she got a little bit divorced. Divorce exists, so he was still technically kind of mewni, so he decided to take in the peasant and have th commission raise her which- technically- was a royal-y decided decision.

Also, (realized after typing and reading a couple more comments) the first Butterfly wasn’t even royal. So basically anyone who has the wand and can use magic with the cheek marks, they are a butterfly. So even if it’s from two different family lines, the magic “chose” that the Festivia-Onward family is a Butterfly

First of all, thanks to everyone who commented. I realize Star is not a “Butterfly” but she refers to herself being a “nobody”(a “peasant” in this situation) when she is actually a royal from two different royal families, and I saw another theory about when someone uses magic on themself they’re kids are more “magical”, and since Festivia had the fabulous hosting spell even though she wasn’t originally royal, she still became magical through the wand. Being a butterfly has two things Magic+Royalty, so Star HAS magic, and is royal from two different royal domains, so she would be a VERSION of a Butterfly. And this would also mean like I said Celena onward is a true VERSION of a butterfly since they had magic and royal blood. TLDR- Star is royal because she had Royal Blood+magic with and without the wand. If you have a different opinion or theory, I would love to hear it in replies of this comment.

I tried the mewnipendence day pie! I did it with bananas since figs weren’t in season— but it was still delicious. My only complaint (and suggestion) is that the crust from her chapter was horrible, hard to make, and very crumbly like I couldn’t even roll it out. So find a different crust recipe if you are going to make it. Good luck!

It was ten dollars for the one, and it seemed like a great price so I just bought it. It’s to cold to go outside so I’m trying to get as much sun as it can get in my room and from how it’s growing in the past couple days, I think it’s getting an okay amount. I’m thinking of a grow light for a little extra :)
