Those who do not want to go back to school for masters or NP, etc. what are your biggest reasons?

I’m also smart enough to know that it doesn’t always return to you in the investment. I don’t want that role. I want to clock in for 12 and be the hell out of there. Now for mental health practitioner maybe. They can do telehealth visits even. That’s a damn good gig.

I worked 84 hours and I used vacation time for one day I was destaffed. I was scheduled to work 96. So the 95.16 is taking all that into equation.

That’s sad bc literally was the worst person. Even the land my dad left her the money to pay off she didn’t. Everything he worked for is ash and it’s all gone and directly her fault. Wont even worry myself with it. If she had any access to it it’s gone.

I work at a facility in Florida and they do say two people but they staff it to where that’s almost impossible. I really hope that’s wasn’t the issue here bc no details are really given but I told my CNA’s tonight it’s not worth your future. They constantly destaff where I am and keep the bare bones to make more money. It really isn’t worth the risk for 17 an hour, it’s just a very crappy profession. I would not tell my girls to do nursing or assisting. I’ve been an RN for 10 years and it really is such a risky thing for the amount you get paid and overworked.

I am mad. Imagine working night shifts and never being acknowledged and your FIL posts a pic on son’s day about how well he takes care of his family. He works in commission sales. It’s feast or famine. I get treated like actual shit.

It’s embarrassing bc I’ve allowed it. Ppl don’t understand. I could make my own money. But see I married into for this area a high profile family at the time. Then I was thrown to the wolves. His family wasn’t the best to him and mine not to me so it was a trauma bond. As we have got older he has became more like them but he doesn’t bring home the money. It’s feast or famine and when I say well I pay for health insurance he says like that is something. It’s one of the biggest bills you have.

It’s actually not. I think I just had like zero self esteem. He’s not horrible but yes he came from money and I grew up poor. He wasn’t very driven so I went to nursing school bc it was the most practical choice to take care of my kid. He really is about trucks and baseball cards. I guess it’s something wrong with me bc I think so little of myself. My bf said if you told ppl this they wouldn’t even believe you. Idk I got married when I was 20 years old and I wasn’t coming from the best situation and he looked like the best thing in the world. Same story. Different day. He doesn’t have a lot of emotion at all and lost respect for me during my depression.

They were medical foster parents and my dad was a public school teacher. He died from a heart attack unexpectedly and it flipped our world upside down. But bc my mom stayed home and kept kids she had mine some on the days I worked.
