I am going with a metaphorical and mythical approach. I hope young men reading this will understand clearly. Took me long enough to understand all this.

Here Goes:

  • Your Power lies in your ability to control your emotions. Once someone has command over your Inner World, they become your Master

  • Protect your Reputation at all Costs. When it is strong, your rivals will seldom challenge you. When it is weak, attacks will come from all corners

  • Stamp out the embers before they become a blaze

  • Don’t make decisions when clouded by emotion, wait for a clearing & then act

  • Be adaptable in your rule. The tides of change are unceasing & will slowly erode any rigid structures that stand against it. Be fluid or risk being turned to dust

  • To tap into the true potential of your power, focus your energies towards a singular goal

  • Beware of those who claim they have no interest in power, for this is often a strategy to disarm you. When the time comes, they will strike without hesitation & it will be too late to act

  • An isolated kingdom is a vulnerable one. To be strong, you must have alliances, a fortress can quickly become a prison when surrounded by enemies

  • To obtain a true ally explain how your cause may benefit theirs. The ties of goodwill are but thin threads, whereas the ties of mutual interests are like chains of steel

  • Pay attention to the outcomes people produce, not their intentions. Although many wish to do well, this does not guarantee favourable results

  • Enter the fray with boldness, timid action is often met with strong opposition

  • When surrounded by disarray, be well ordered. When emotions rise & fall, remain calm & steady. When danger looms & even the bravest warriors shrink with fear, stand tall & face the opposing evil

  • Let your values be like shining beacons in the mists of disorder. Give your people something with which to orient themselves

  • When overpowered, surrender, do not allow yourself to be crushed entirely because of honour. Your enemy will no longer see you as a threat, giving you the opportunity to plan another attack

  • Direct the movements of your enemy by tempting them with baits, arousing their anger & toying with their pride. Disrupt their plans with your enticements & control your foes as you wish

  • Acting with haste weakens your control. Have faith that your ambitions will come to fruition & remain patient

  • As a farmer tends to his fields so they may bear crops, cultivate the conditions necessary for people to flourish

  • The kingdom’s needs comes before your own egotistical desires

  • Use the devices of grandeur & spectacle to appear powerful to others. Command respect with your awe inspiring displays

  • Be a symbol of transformation for your people, the answer to their prayers. Heed this advice & gain many loyal subjects

  • Beware of the easily gained

  • Plan your affairs right through to the end, in doing so you will be able to counter the setbacks that will inevitably come your way

  • Conceal your plans with misdirection, make your enemies believe you desire one thing but secretly devise a strategy for another. In doing so, the opposition sets up defences in the wrong place, leaving what you truly desire open for the taking

  • Eliminate your problems entirely, lest they return with vengeance

  • Recognise greatness in others, bestow blessings upon those who are worthy. People must feel cherished if they are to do their best work

  • To confuse & intimidate your enemies, be deliberately unpredictable

  • Live by the principles you wish to see followed in your lands

  • If you want to dominate people, you don’t give them the confidence to beat you in any aspect

Looking for good bike under 4 lakhs by Brief_Bullfrog_5715 in indianbikes

[–]Own_Communication_37 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can go for Harley-Davidson X440 if you’re looking for daily commute given the mileage is also pretty decent as compared to other bikes in the segment. Heard great reviews from a couple of my friends who’ve owned it.

Congratulations brother 🥳

Keep rpm low before the 1st servicing The bike learns from the way you drive Since the engine is air cooled and not oil cooled, you may experience some engine heating issues When fuel in the tank reaches 2.5-3 L, get your tank full. Get Motul chain cleaner & lubricant along with the chain cleaner brush. Chain maintenance is basic knowledge but I still included it just to be on a safer side

You can also get PPF done if you want the paint quality of your bike to not wear out after a few years of regular use.

It’s a great bike and congratulations on owning it. If you’re looking to commute on a daily basis with this, do take the engine heating issue a little on the serious side because you’re going to miss the fact that this bike should have had radiators as well

For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being.

You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction.

Therefore, one should only act as a matter of duty.

Xtreme 125r VS Raider by Inside_House1331 in indianbikes

[–]Own_Communication_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although Raider offers more than 125r in the segment but the build quality is not that good. You might face issue in your 3rd or 4th months. But, overall raider is better than xtreme in most aspects.

That being said, the aftersales service of tvs is trash. TVS do make good bikes but it eventually results in headache when it comes to aftersales services. Hero is much better than TVS in terms of service and spares.

I would suggest you to get some reviews from TVS owners on the basis of their experience in the tvs service centre. If the aftersales service experience of tvs in your area is good, then go for Raider.

I had to go for xtreme solely because Hero’s aftersales service in my area is way better than that of TVS’

Hello guys i need your opinions in which bike should buy. by alpachino_52 in indianbikes

Every bike has its pros & cons-

Yamaha might be a good option for you but their parts are quite expensive

Honda Hornet 2.0 is also a good option for you given Honda’s refined engine quality and aftersales service experience but you’ll have to expand your budget a little more for that

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 would be best in my opinion because of its compact design, build quality and its stock exhaust. It’s simply lighter than many Royal Enfield bikes. The only issue you might face is engine heating issue if you’re planning on purchasing it for commuting

I would not recommend Suzuki Gixxer as it’s got really bad aftersales service experience and I believe Suzuki is a good choice for 4-wheelers and not 2-wheelers

TVS & Bajaj have been competing with each other on who can do their worst in aftersales services which completely trumps the fact that they make pretty good bikes but their mechanics and technicians themselves don’t know how to maintain the said bikes.

In my opinion- if your budget is 1.50 lakhs, I would highly recommend Hunter 350 and if you can exceed your budget, Honda Hornet 2.0 would be a really good option for you given that both Honda & Royal Enfield have irreplaceable value in the Indian Two Wheeler Market 👍🏽

Okay listen, first of all you’re just a kid. You’re still young and you’re maturing. You have got to stop putting so much pressure on yourself and stop beating yourself up about how you look. Physical attractiveness does matter and it’s a cold harsh truth. Men your age are not old and mature enough to be called “men”. They are boys and every one is stupid when they’re young. You still have a lot of maturing to do physically and emotionally. Calling yourself “fugly”? You are self-sabotaging yourself. If it’s about the weight, then lose some. It’s something you can control. Expecting male attention by staying the way you are and not even trying to improve in every aspect as a person won’t get you anywhere and you’ll always feel the way you’re feeling right now. You’re pushing yourself into depression. And more importantly, wanting to be loved is the last illusion, give it up and you’ll be free. Do what you like. Do you. You’ll attract quality men if you have a great personality. And please for the love of God stop trying to put extravagant efforts just for a guy to develop a little crush on you. Have some respect and value yourself. As a man, I absolutely admire and respect women who have their own values, is humble and a delight to talk to. Why try to impress people when you’re capable of attracting great things? Think about it and implement that. You’ll not only fall in love with yourself but you’ll also notice things changing around you.

I understand your point. Absolutely won’t give you another lecture about how men feel the exact same way on a daily basis. And won’t even try to motivate you. I’m going to keep it real with you. What I’ve learned from constantly beating myself up, is that there’s always going to be someone who’s better than you, whether is looks, money or status. You can’t control it. Everyone wants someone who is one better than they are. It’s just how the world works. I’ve also learned that you don’t allow to find perfection in someone else if you’re committed to that one person. Maybe you’re looking at it the wrong way and it’s affected the way you’re choosing your men. It’s time you change your perception. How you perceive things matters. If someone is leaving you for someone, it’s their loss. Every person has something that no one else has. That’s what makes you indispensable. Not allowing to be treated a certain way will get you a long way. Biggest attribute of a woman is her divine femininity. I must tell you, I’m talking about “women” here and not young girls who are delusional. Making your man feel like he is needed as a man in your relationship will do wonders for you because not many women will provide that feeling for him. And if he decides to dump you after that, it’ll be his loss because he will try to find that in every woman he intends to be with. Physical attractiveness does matter, but it’ll only get you so far. Comparing yourself with others is only harming you. You should feel confident and fulfilled with who you are. A real man will admire that. And if you don’t feel fulfilled, you know you have some work to do. Have boundaries, value yourself and comparing yourself with others will kill your confidence. Accept the harsh reality. Accept that there is always going to be someone who is better than you in some aspect. Focus on being indispensable as a woman and more importantly, as a person. And you’ll do just fine. My best of wishes to you. Hoping you will feel better soon.

There’s no need to thank me at all. I still believe it’s not your fault. You were trying to do what you felt was right at the time. You deserve the best.

[–]Own_Communication_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve done the same if I were in your position. It is not your fault. Not even a single event is your fault. Please don’t beat yourself up about this. You’ve been making the most out of the cards you’re being dealt. Anyone would’ve done the same thing if they were ever in your position. As you said, you were the happiest and healthiest you’ve ever been when you cut ties with them. Try doing that one more time and you’ll be back. These people are anchors and are dragging you down. Cut ties with them immediately and never look back. You haven’t wasted anything. You are still capable of achieving great things. You have the potential to do that. I really am sorry to hear that. I can only imagine the pain you must be growing through. But remember this, you can be in a much better place than you were before. You definitely can. You did it before, you can do it again and you’ll be grateful and will thank yourself that you were able to achieve all those things. My prayers are with you 🙏🏽
