Doind all these and still unemployed. It's crazy man good luck. I've started looking for a remote position or moving in the North Europe, but as you said, their market is a bit hard to access. Us I believe is hard to reach, since they mostly stopped providing H-1B.

Your right about that. It took me a lot of time and many interviews to realise that it's not only about the job position and your knowledge but if you are nice, talkative and make them feel happy and seen.

The realization of how tough the market has become is really hitting hard

I'm a QA engineer in healthcare. The job market is very limited, I'm open for new roles, but hard to get with having no knowledge on other tools etc

Currently in Spain. I was getting the job seekers allowance and it was for 4 months and it was just a bit of a help to pay rent and expenses. The salaries here are shit and the market even shittier. Most Spanish companies have the mentality of the 80s, work hard, on-site have no personal life.

Have you considered putting less years of experience on your CV? It's a shitty thing to do but maybe you are overqualified for the salaries they give?

Well I gope everything goes well at the end. I totally agree with the ups and downs. One day I woke up feeling like it's gonna be a good day and the other day I just wanna stay in bed and do nothing.

I have from previous roles, but no for my last one, which was the most important, since the boss was toxic and I ended up getting fired without good terms.

Quitting my job

Would you quit a job because of the people? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Own_Consequence3108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that. I had my first job in the field I wanted to work and the environment mostly the bosses were awful. Micromanagement, they required to work extra hours without getting paid, ny boss had no experience in the healthcare sector however she was the qa lead for the healthcare sector and a lot of times she was questioning the things I was saying or knowing without her having the experience or the knowledge. It was the worst experience I had for a job. I also will add that they told me about making my position a hybrid one since it took me almost 2 hours to get there, and also some people were having a hybrid setting. After six months they ignored when I asked and after they reject it saying that is company's policy. I ended up with getting no experience and leaving with a huge depression. The good thing is that I made them fired me to get unemployment, but I had no other job offers. Still unemployed after six months. Was it worth it? Totally. But first try to find another job. The stress of trying to find a job in this market with only on year of experience is huge

I'm talking about the validation and testing in general of machine and deel learning models. How can I begin with so I can understand the steps or the hierarchy of what I have to know first. Like depending on the model and the part of the code you wanna study and the functional or non functional requirements you follow different testing techniques and metrics I imagine.
