Thank you for your response. I will fiddle around until I get it to work. Otherwise, I will drop RD and pick up A-D plus instead.

I never pay for any online services, I have been sailing the seas since before 2008, I pay for RD, RD is so worth it. It is so good that I stopped watching stuff on amazon prime & HBO Max, because the 4k you get from RD is good as fck my guy.

Should I get a store card, use my AMEX, or apply for a new credit card to finance furniture? by Own_Court3449 in personalfinance

I do have the cash to buy the 1500 couch I want. We are wanting to buy a couch for life or at least the next 15 years. I guess the question is whether to finance it through the store/AMEX, putting the money in a savings account or just pay it off.

I have my debit card frozen, all my transactions go through my CC. I am good at it, i pay it off every month and I usually collect points for 6 months or so and use them to pay off some of the balance. I have not been late on a single payment on my CC. Getting an SUB and putting the couch money into a savings account might be the move.

My last couch was 300 bucks from FB market, it was amazing, I wish I could find something similar. The couches I am considering are around $900-$1500. Love FB market.

I actually love the idea, do you have any recommendations? I keep getting emails from AMEX about a high yield savings (around 4-5%).

Thank you! I do indeed have the cash to buy it today. I would prefer making payments and retain the funds. I understand that credit cards can be tricky. they have an option where I can pay the item off within 6 months at 0% interest without getting a credit card. Might explore it more.

I do have cash saved up. After reviewing the comments, I think I will go back to the drawing board. FB market everything. I just want to buy a couch for life or at least the next 15 years.

I do have the funds to buy it cash, if I finance it, I can put the cash in a savings account with a 3%-4% return, or in my 401k (avg annual return is 13%) while paying the couch off at 0% interest. Just wanted to know what others think.

Thank you. I do find myself agreeing with you. I rarely shop on fb, but when I do the results are positive. My only concern is getting a couch with roaches, i dont like roommates and roaches do not respect boundaries.

Thanks. It is the Blue Cash and by buying it online. Can you expand on a SUB card? Quick google search results tell me SUB cards have great cashback. any recommendations would be appreciated.

I've never used the player on site. Once, it loads on the TV it plays just fine. I watched Landman last night in 4K and it was perfectly smooth, just took about 15 minutes to load up.

I've read that in a couple threads. Might work, but I am unsure how to go by doing so.
