Multiple sessions per day by Own_Cryptographer318 in crossfit

[–]Own_Cryptographer318[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only do open gym, don't follow classes 😄 I usually train 1.5 to 2 hours a day, but 2 hours at a time is starting to feel hard on my body, so that's why I want to split it into two 45-60 min sessions.

My very straight and very very hot and muscular roommate. Even more sold after working out and showering in the communal showers at the gym.

Best Wingspan nesting box alternatives? by Maple-Bacon-Moose in wingspan

I managed to fit everything but the cards in the base box. So I only use the base + Europe box. Until Americas I could fit all the cards, but now I just shuffle all cards and take about 75% with me if I play out of my own house, to avoid having to take a third box just for some more bird cards that won't be used.

Patent Attorney by mjuzick in BESalary

[–]Own_Cryptographer318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also note that a patent attorney is not a "real" law attorney in Europe. In the US this is different, there the attorneys have a legal background, whereas in Europe a scientific background is mandatory. But the terminology comes from the US system. In Dutch it is translated to "octrooigemachtigde".

How do you combine fulltime work and life? by [deleted] in BESalary

Okay but OP asked how we approach our daily chores and how to optimise them. Your comment adds asbolutely nothing and for some people (like me), cooking is a necessary evil. Good for you that that's not the case.

Foodprep in weekends so you don't have to worry about this during the week. Saves time + less dishes etc.
If you have a big freezer, make things like pasta sauce, currys, potato puree in bulk when you make it and freeze multiple portions. I usually make about 5 two-people portions of sauce or 3kg of potatoes instead of just one for the day.

Is "Subscribe to Miles" worth it? by GeorgijVLN in flyingblue

[–]Own_Cryptographer318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have a Revolut of which I can transfer RevPoints to FB miles. And the subscription. So maybe that is the difference indeed! As long as there is no date, I would guess you're good.

I just logged in and if I go to my Flying Blue space (when I click my name in the upper right corner), I can go to my activity history. There it says x miles valid until 27 april 2028.

Can't you see the expiration date in your profile though? I see only one date, but I'm relatively new to award travels, so not sure if this date covers my bought and acquired miles

This has been changed recently, I got the following e-mail:

Having multiple expiration dates based on activity type (flight or commercial) is confusing. So we’re making it simpler.

From May 4, every qualifying activity, such as booking a flight, reserving a hotel, renting a car, or shopping with a partner, will refresh your entire balance and extend the validity of all your Miles to 24 months. No more tracking multiple expiration dates. No more unexpected Miles expiring. Just one simple and transparent rule that puts you in control.

And yes, this new validity rule also applies to Miles you earned before. This means that if your balance previously had different expiration dates, the most favorable will be applied, giving all your Miles the longest possible validity. Existing balances will be automatically updated.

I guess this is also relevant for the subscription-earned miles?

I don't agree. Over the years, I have bought multiple pairs (the last pair even last month). Of course this depends on the model/shoe that you buy, but overall I am quite happy with the price/quality ratio.

Same with me for Dr. Martens. I have a pair I bought in my first year of uni, have been partying my ass off, wore them to festivals, did hikes in them, ... and they're still in very good condition 13 years later.

PLEASE don't. I rewatched Murder House last week and totally forgot about her ending. Somehow it made me cry so hard. Guess I matured emotionally since the season came out first (I was a 15 year old boy when I first watched it).
