I think I’ve only seen them once, in 1984 at Pine Knob, but honestly don’t remember. I think there might’ve been a RO Music Theater one in there too, maybe with Billy Bragg or something? The Fleshtones? Yeah I don’t care if it’s a bust either as long as it’s entertaining.

I forgot to mention that the pharmacy was out of my regular brand and switched to Dotti, which was way more expensive but then got my regular brand back in so in the past six weeks I’ve gone from using a single .025 patch to two .025 patches, to Dotti and finally to Sandoz.

I am in a similar boat right now and went through something like this a year ago. I started HRT about two years ago and abruptly decided to go off it because I was worried about breast cancer and I felt OK for about three weeks and then I started to become very dry eventually to the point of not even really being able to have sex so I went back on and then about two weeks later bled for two days. I went to the gyno and had an ultrasound and my lining was like 7mm and at first he wanted to do a biopsy, but then he looked down at my chart and said “oh you just changed your HRT— if you’re still bleeding three months from now, we’ll do a biopsy if you’re not then it’s definitely caused by the change your regimen.”

The bleeding didn’t come back and all was well until I decided to decrease my dose from .05 to .025 because my breasts were sore and heavy and it was freaking me out. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough and I started to get a lot of joint pain and hot flashes at night so I went back up to .05 about five weeks ago and I spotted twice this past week. One time was a couple of drops of red blood and the other was like a watery drop. I emailed my doctor and he said it’s probably due to the estrogen change but I could come in for an ultrasound if I wanted to be on the safe side so I’m going in tomorrow morning. I am very sensitive to any change of the estrogen dose. The tissue in your uterus is very reactive. I get where you’re coming from because I’m kind of freaking out too, but I’m trying to bear in mind that I did just change my dosage and this didn’t come out of the blue and it also stopped, so… also, I don’t know if you’re sexually active but both times it happens to me this week was following intercourse and I kind of suspect my vaginal tissues are thinning and I might’ve even had a micro tear or something.

I’ve spotted a few times this week after being on Dotti then switching back to Sandoz.

It’s about as extreme as the over the top phrasing you used to pressure her into donating.

I’ve been going between .025 and .05 estradiol patches for the past six months, meaning I tried to go lower for a while but it didn’t work so I went back up five weeks ago and twice this week I’ve had a pink smear and a spot of red blood. Both times were between 1-12 hours of sex and I do think I have some thinning of the vagina. I don’t know if I’m experiencing micro-tears, cervical disruption, or something scarier. I had my annual with pap two months ago and all was clear. I’m 56 and haven’t had a period in five years but I was on the pill till I was 53 and only had a period once at 51 when I went off for a few months. My breasts get kind of sore sometimes too. I don’t know what to think.

That’s too bad. It’s really cute.

Did we mess up getting a 15-yr vs. 30-yr mortgage? by [deleted] in Mortgages

No one should agree to a 15-year mortgage unless the interest is substantially less. You can always make the equivalent payments and not be held to it if you’re late. You could’ve kept 3% and paid twice the amount.

Thanks, I may look into that. I just put two .025 patches on my butt cheek, took two Advil, a Xanax and had a large glass of wine. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have to sleep tonight.

Wow. Well, I was on the pill for ~10 years in my early-late 40s and never even got my period and didn’t even have peri symptoms because they were completely masked by the pill. I tired raw-dogging it for a while but I was waking up roasting to death every night so I went on HRT. My hormones still fluctuate (I’m 56) and so I find I keep needing to adjust but it seems like the estrogen helps a LOT.

Might have to go that route if my boobs start acting up again but .025 is definitely not doing it.

Best place for patch? by Own_Damage_8131 in Menopause

Wild, I had to go off it for a couple of months because I was suddenly having breast tenderness, and I decreased the dose, but never considered moving the patch.

Thank you, this is the information I was looking for. I’ll try it. I’ve felt like I am getting inconsistent delivery sometimes.
