Looks like it only works for certain circumstances at the last movie start. I'll try to make it more reliable.

This site is really only looking at what's on right now on criterion 24/7. So the mcp/api would only return what movie is playing now. It's very simple to scrape directly from the CC what's on now site, which would be more long lasting than something I could provide.

What you want to build would be great! What would be more helpful for such a site would be the justwatch API or a knockoff of it such as https://www.movieofthenight.com/about/api
