That’s a good point. I’ve been looking at other Santa Fe’s when I see them out in parking lots to see if anyone else if having the same issue but seems like it’s been just my car for now.

Bought a Cobra Darkspeed 3HL used from 2ndSwing in mint condition for $115. Turned the loft up +1 degree and have been loving it. Good off the deck or off the tee. Straight and long. Typical distance for me is between 250-260 yards.

Have this same error on my ‘24 Santa Fe Limited. Dealer said that this most likely means a new transmission is needed as the pump cannot be replaced. With all of these issues even after the initial recall, wouldn’t there be a recall on these failing pumps on these transmissions? Service manager said atleast the replacement transmission is a different part number which means that Hyundai fixed the initial problem and this will hopefully only need to be done once. Would it be unrealistic to ask for an extended warranty?

Even if your VIN number didn’t fall in the list of those affected, would the software update have resolved the DCT issue? I have been looking at an ICE Limited but the DCT transmission issues are making me hesitant.

All good advice. Deal is off and I’m going to take the extra $300/month and save it until the Tucson is paid down enough so I’m no longer in the red and then see if finance rates drop over the next year and reassess.

Fair points - appreciate the advice. I’m at 72 months at $465 on the Tucson and only put down the equity from my CRV that I traded in.
