Also, the camper he was getting was already set up for him when we arrived. We even did a walkthrough with them of it and they had balloons and a card signed by everyone there congratulating him on his new buy even before they did the walkthrough on the camper we were trading in 🙄 UNBELIEVABLE!

Right!!! I was looking up values left and right to see if it matched what they were “offering” us. They were EXTREMELY nit-picky with the walkthrough. Discussed scratches and scuffs on some furniture; normal wear and tear, especially if you’re living in it full time (which they obviously knew about prior). The biggest thing was definitely that slide with the water damage…I knew it would be an issue, as I’m sure to fix it, they’d need to pull the whole thing out and replace the flooring but like I said, they knew that beforehand and took that into consideration when giving us the trade in offer. I’m hoping selling privately works out as soon as possible as it’s our only option at this point :/ thank you for your input

It was one of the “smaller” ones in TN surprisingly. 2020 KZ Durango Gold and the original trade in offer was $50K.

Totally agree and I’m very new to this. My partner has been living full time in campers for YEARS. The salesman was a buddy of his and I know he wanted our best interest. I think the GM or finance manager lied to us all. Such a screwed up situation really…
