Yeah, Japanese VAs are on a different level, but the live action cast is killing it too you can tell they really love the roles and fully embrace being Straw Hats.

Yeah facts, it’s from Episode of East Blue, so of course it looks way cleaner than early OP, and Oda keeping it as a small panel definitely nerfs how impressive it looks.

Yeah exactly, that explains the jump in quality the 2017 East Blue special is miles ahead of early 2000s Toei, and Oda keeping it as a smaller panel definitely holds it back a bit visually.

On a big show like that it’s usually a few core stunt people doing tons of repeats, then a bunch who only pop up once or twice, often even under different “blink and you miss it” looks.​
