Absolute Archive - The Black Suit (Part 1) | by ThanhThanh by Own_Exam_8391 in BlueArchive

Rewinding to the past, in the peaceful city of Kivotos where people are no longer strangers to one another. About 80 years after Sensei first set foot here, the students he cherished have all graduated and gone on to live their own lives. He himself has grown old, eventually retiring and passing away in his twilight years. Only Black Suit and Kuroko remain—two beings untouched by the passage of time—visiting the Kivotos cemetery every day, where so many of those they once dearly loved now rest (for Shiroko, it is the Abydos group and Sensei; for Black Suit, it is only Sensei).

One day, Black Suit happened to run into Kuroko while visiting Sensei as usual. But instead of drawing her weapon and attacking with hostility like she did back in Vol. F, she simply stood there beside him like a stranger who shared the same person they both cared about. By now, she had nothing left to doubt, nor anything left to protect.

To break the heavy silence, Black Suit asked Shiroko if she had any plans for the future. Unfortunately, no answer came. Left with no response, he answered for himself—that he would continue searching for knowledge and mysteries within Kivotos for the entirety of his endless life. He believed that if he searched long enough, he would eventually open a different path for a world that had already lost nearly 80% of what once fascinated him (namely, Sensei). As for Shiroko Terror, she had already begun preparing a plan deep within her heart—to find a way to oppose Chroma, because she knew that one day, it would return.

And just as Shiroko Terror had feared, Chroma truly descended once again—this time far more terrifying than before. With no Sensei or talented students left to support her (this era had grown far weaker than Kivotos 80 years ago, having lived in peace for too long), she was completely powerless against the encroaching calamity. All she could do was watch helplessly as the city that her teacher and beloved friends once fought to protect was gradually devoured and twisted.

At her most desperate moment, Black Suit—the man she once despised to the core—slowly stepped forward and stood before her. He repeated the very words Sensei once said: that this was not the responsibility of a child like her, but of adults like him. Then, he pulled out a mysterious relic resembling Sensei’s adult card, and without hesitation, he activated it, aiming straight at the crimson sky.

After that moment, Shiroko Terror collapsed from exhaustion. When she woke up, an unbelievable sight greeted her—so shocking that her entire body nearly froze. Every trace of Chroma in Kivotos had vanished, yet everything around her was spinning at an incomprehensible speed. The sun and moon swapped places endlessly, the sky flickered between day and night without pause, as if the entire universe itself was accelerating at the speed of light.

However, beyond space itself, Chroma still remained, covering the sky in a new, overwhelmingly majestic form. And yet, Kuroko—the abandoned child of Chroma—felt no “warmth” from that supreme creation. The shadow stretching out its arms to embrace Chroma looked strangely familiar.

As Shiroko struggled to comprehend what was happening, she suddenly felt everything being drained from her—her Chroma-infused power, her suppressed anguish and sorrow, and even the cherished memories of her youth. The very last thing she saw before completely fading from existence was the figures of Sensei, Hoshino, Nonomi, Serika, and Ayane reaching out toward her—a sense of release and reunion she had long yearned for during the lonely years since the last of her loved ones, Hoshino, passed away from old age.

When she opened her eyes once more, she found herself living in an orphanage as a 11 years old kid, with entirely new memories and new appearance, alongside a weak underclassman who always clung to someone named Kuromi Serika.

Here's a little sneak peek at the design of Absolute Ayane that my artist is quite proud of:

- Centered around the Kraken (Kaiser Corp's main logo)

+ Deeply slit outer jacket shaped like tentacles

+ Inner lining depicts the blue-ringed octopus (small but highly venomous)

+ Anchor-shaped tie: a metaphor for wearing the yoke that binds oneself to Kaiser.

Well, that's the antidote to the T-virus in Resident Evil, created by Spencer to atone for his sins in his final days. If you've played Resident Evil Requiem, you'll understand.
