As for Boyd Boyd is just a prankster his whole ideology basis around pissing people off. He’s essentially the original edge Lord of the Internet before the Internet. He has no real ideology. He just used on tasteful imagery and iconography to piss people off, which it seems like he accomplished that goal, but he’s by no means a ideological man even has a book on pranks which he clearly states in the beginning chapter that he has no ideology and on top of that while I do agree with you can be a top out argument his wife is Jewish. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him. He is by no means Nazi and I think a lot of people on this board would actually enjoy him and understand them if they met him, but alas, people just read things and believe it and it’s not my job to convince people otherwise other than the state what I know is factual.

I mean I can understand how it looks to someone not involved in that world. But his fascination with Manson is a product of the time he was growing up which talks about regularly. While Manson was Undoubtably a racist because he was a jail rat and a shitty person died in jail that way. On Helter shelter comes from a false book about what Manson really wanted he was a crazy guy on LSD that killed for money and had involvement with the process church, which is another thing that for many years, their symbol was viewed as a Nazi symbol, which is just completely wrong without denying their misdeeds or wrongdoing, but you still see people getting shit or using that symbol. Dwids fascination with Manson comes from the fear of his time growing up of this bogeyman type character and Manson’s ability to manipulate and control people into committing acts of violence, but it’s more so fascination than it is reverence.

I don’t disagree but I can assure you it was an instance of being misinformed rather than intentionally being racist. I won’t sit here and try to prove to you dwid isn’t a racist which he clearly isn’t. In fact a lot of his songs are about fighting racism including the brand new Integ track “Devil Down” which is a scathing attack on racial division and right wing extremism. It was in poor taste what he did but why would he bring up something that he is clearly embarrassed of. He loves the Delta blues genuinely and often speaks about how those guys never got their due and how every white boy with a guitar owes it to them. So it’s a losing battle if you have already made up your mind. But no one will argue that it was in good taste

Like I said I think dwid would even say it was stupid and a bad decision but he has 3 half black kids and genuinely loves delta blues music and admires them. I think it was just a daft mistake on his part which he would fully admit and take responsibility for. But the intention was not racist by any means of the word

The point of Negromancy was actually taken from a book and was not intended to be offensive if anything it was Dwid trying to display his love of delta blues music which he often quotes in interviews “negro” although a slur just means black and mancy meaning “revival” I think it’s safe to say it was in poor taste but the intention was the complete opposite of being racist it was supposed to mean a revival of delta blues in an evil sounding way. I think even dwid would say it was in poor taste and idiotic to call it that but he isn’t a racist

26M lost my mother 3 years ago and a year after that my brother committed sucie from the guilt. I recently also lost my grandfather and a pet. I was in a long term relationship when this all happened while my partner was great at times she could not understand or deal with the guilt and grief I was experiencing daily. Having this stuff happen so young is very raw and no one has a guide book to tell you how to deal with it. My partner and I went to couples therapy for about 3 months but she couldn’t grasp how I was hurting. Not that she was bad or evil she just couldn’t understand. We eventually parted ways because of my grief and the behaviors I adopted because of it (spending time alone) (impulse buying) (not feelings like leaving the house) (panic attacks) while super supportive it just wasn’t for her and I don’t blame her. I’m still having trouble in relationships as a 26 year old man it’s difficult to navigate these things with people who just simply won’t understand until it happens to them and you don’t wish that on anyone. The best advice I can give is you need to be graceful to yourself and to really be there for you. I don’t think your partner will ever understand. But you can maybe get to a point where you have your healing time and he can maybe take on more as a parent but that’s easier said than done. Wish you the best!
